Book readers have been warning us this will not be a happy ending. Not too mad at that, given Choco Milk is balancing this heavy show with some fun brightness. Jury is still out on if Strongberry will break our hearts, but I am way way more hopeful that Choco Milk will end happy, and help counteract this sad story. I just can’t figure out where Koichi’s body will be found. It has only been 3 days since the accident, and he has spent time with his family. But where does the body appear? How will his family take it. Koichi Mom is very pregnant, with Koichi be re-incarnated immediately as a positive spin at the end. Sooooo curious!

2022-11-26 17:03:12 +0000 UTCI feel the same way I did going into the finale of Once Again - I just don't see how a happy ending is possible. I have read some of the novel, so I wasn't deluding myself as to what kind of story this was, but I guess I was hoping to feel... more like 'life is a beautiful thing' rather than just despondent. If this is a full on sad ending, I hope we can see these two in something that is a bit more cheerful - unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the Japanese way though - when they do a BL, it's either a continuation of the same story, or they don't work together again 😭 Just as an aside, the actor who plays Koichi is so handsome, I shall definitely have a look for him in something else.
