This is probably the first episode where I felt I really needed Takara's perspective. I really wish they would have spent some of the episode in his head because missing his element kind of made me not like him as much. Like after ep 4, we know Takara really really likes Amagi and has for a while. So his coldness is kind of grating in this ep, because truly Amagi didn't really do anything but he's basically being ignored and no idea why. I cannot wait for the next ep though. I do really wish the manga was available because I really kind of want to read it for more context. The show is good though and I really like to rewatch the eps over to break down things. I've also been watching various translations because I was very confused at first with how Takara's friend treating Amagi with the peppero game. Like in one, the make it seem like he kinda hinted at Amagi being spoiled and getting his way in school (which seemed odd as he sticks to his friends) but in another they imply the friend was saying people at school baby Amagi and he's immature. Their interaction really made me wonder if there was some manga context that could explain his sudden interest in Amagi. I feel like he didn't know about Takara and Amagi before (based on what we've seen) but I wonder in the book if he figured it out before or saw them.......Loved your reaction and can't wait for more!
