2024-02-19 23:10:38 +0000 UTCHonestly I feel really bad for Yao. He was treated wrongly his whole life despite doing everything everyone wanted of him. Then as he was planning revenge on those who wronged him, he met Xue Yang whose thoughts and opinions got into his head, making him kill people who didn't even harm him in any way, making him power-hungry and manipulative. Then he dies by the hand of the one person he trusted and never faked kindness towards (Lan Xichen). ALSO I fully believe he could've changed if given another chance. He already had his revenge on everyone so if he had been taken back and punished, I believe he could've gone back to being the sweet Yao we met at the start of the series. He just needs some therapy
