At this point, I don't think Da-On romantically likes Tae he may like him but I don't know. I feel he's doing what that girl said, he does all the time. Da-On is so nice to a fault, Tae is misunderstanding cause he has never explored this kind of feelings of someone being nice to him he has only had negativity thrown at him because he was labelled the "weird" loner kid in school because Da-On was the first to show him kindness and offered him a hand of friendship by the way I find this a little unsettling. If you remember in the first episode Tae already made a judgement on who he would have has a friend, because of what happened between Tae and Shin in his mind, Shin is not a nice friend to have because he only saw a negative side to Shin. Whereas Da-On was nice to him from the start. In Tae's mind, Da-On is a good friend (best friend) but Shin is just a friend.
