A few points, Gilgamesh didn't call Tokiomi insufferable because he's just scheming and sitting in the background, the reason he doesn't like him is because he's boring, his boring wish to reach the root with the holy grail that Gilgamesh can't care for at all, it's such a plain and basic desire of every mage, it's just not interesting to Gil at all, but Kirei he finds fascinating. Arthur Pendragon is a woman in this universe yes. And those pills waver threw I think were magic/rune stones, similar to the ones we see Rin practice on next episode, they're sort of the basic magic tool for many purposes, be it attack or utility.

2018-12-29 08:27:58 +0000 UTClancer is a tragic character similar to lancelot of the arturian legends where the loyal knight fell in love with their lords wife. tho as a loyal knight he probably shouldnt hav been seduced by her. the memories kayneth had were lancers, the master and servants are connected(like you surmised) and there will be instants where the master relive the memories of their servants. also kayneths initial goal for the grail wasnt that he had anything to be granted but more out of pride and the price of victory. perhaps its also to reach the root of magic like most mages but its more out of pride then anything. in the fate universe king arthur was a woman who pretended to be a man lool. arturia is her real name and the only reason for this was that fate was initially a visual novel...and u can guess the rest xD.
