I don't think it was MHA, that is a different studio and director, but otherwise, correct. It is basically assured that there will be another season, the manga is too popular in Japan and the anime was a huge profit too. Best bets right now are sometime next year, and there is plenty of content for a 2-cour (or more, by then).

2018-09-02 02:06:06 +0000 UTCI would seriously hope it will gwt a season 4 with how popular it is. They just did a stage show to celebrate Haikyuu day, and they are currently re-airing the first season in Japan.

Unfortunately two seiyuu's went on hiatus due to illness, they were pretty much caught up with the manga, but now the seiyuu's are both back and we have at least 2 arcs in the manga. I heard a rumour that the director is tied up with MHA and that is the last hurdle. We shall see.
