2018-06-17 14:31:00 +0000 UTCThe prince (Clovis) and the scientist aren't related at all. When the prince said that line about owing his brother, he was referring to someone else. Clovis is one of the emperor's children and was appointed as viceroy of this particular area. He's basically a mayor/governor and is ruling the area in the name of his father. The royal family is kind of big so a good amount of its members serve in important positions like this.
