EP.213. The Aunt Who’s Starting to Waver 

“It’s been a while since I’ve been to a department store... but this place is really expensive...” 

The department store Hitae brought her to was quite upscale, with even ordinary clothes and accessories carrying hefty price tags. 

“Today’s on me, so don’t worry and pick whatever you like~” 

“Still...” 

“I’ve saved up a lot helping my mom over the years, so it’s fine to splurge.” 

“Then... maybe just one thing?” 

“Pick as much as you want~” 

Now that he was the master of three women, Hitae could use the family’s wealth as he pleased. With his mother running a successful company, he had enough resources to be treated as a VIP at this department store. 

But Jihyun didn’t know this, and wondered if the young Hitae was overextending himself out of pride. Still, she followed his lead and headed to a section with clothes she might like. 

“Welcome. Is there something you’re looking for?” 

“Yes, I’m looking for clothes that would suit this lady.” 

It was just after lunch, so the clothing sections weren’t crowded yet. 

“This lady... One moment, please.” 

The staff glanced at Jihyun’s chest, then consulted with a manager. 

‘Ugh... this is a little embarrassing...’ 

Likely because of her large bust, the staff hesitated to recommend anything. 

“I’m sorry, but I don’t think we have anything in your size...” 

“Really?... Hmm... What should I do...” 

As expected, her bust made it hard to find clothes she liked or that fit, so the staff apologized. 

“It’s fine, let’s try somewhere else.”

She was used to this her size had always made it hard to find cute or stylish clothes.

He led her to a more secluded area, guarded by two security staff.

Hitae presented a black card, which was scanned before they were allowed inside a lounge with luxurious sofas and a relaxing atmosphere. 

“Welcome, Mr. Lee Hitae.” 

“Hello. Please bring out the clothes I requested.” 

“Yes, of course.” 

“H-Hitae, what is this place?” 

“Oh, it’s a VIP room. I had them prepare clothes that would suit you.” 

The staff here were far more attentive and graceful than in the main store, and Jihyun sat on the sofa, a bit overwhelmed. 

‘He must have a lot of money...’ 

It was obvious this wasn’t a place just anyone could enter, and she realized Hitae was wealthier than she’d thought. 

“Would you like a drink?” 

“I just ate, so coffee. What about you, Auntie?” 

“I’ll have coffee too.” 

“Right away.” 

It was her first time receiving such VIP treatment, and she felt both dazed and nervous. 

“Relax, we’re just here to shop for clothes~” 

“I never thought I’d come to a place like this...” 

After a short wait, coffee was served, and soon staff brought out a selection of clothes. 

“Wow... they’re all so pretty...” 

Each outfit was expensive, luxurious, and genuinely beautiful. 

“Let’s try some on~” 

“But what if I stretch them out...” 

She hesitated, worried her bust would stretch or damage the clothes and she’d have to pay for them. 

“Don’t worry about the cost today. If anything happens, I’ll take care of it.” 

“Hitae...” 

His kindness made her see him in a new light. 

“Then... I’ll just try a few...” 

In the end, she took several outfits into the fitting room. 

‘Auntie really is easy to win over...’ 

She was hesitant at first, but a few kind words made her trust him and relax. He found it a little endearing.

The staff, a bit surprised, left with the card. The total would be in the tens of millions of won, but if it meant making Auntie his, it was worth it.

At first, she’d only planned to try a few, but she ended up modeling almost every outfit, like a fashion show, and Hitae praised her each time, boosting her mood.

The last dress was even more daring than the first a red dress with a plunging neckline exposing a third of her chest, and a skirt so short it barely covered her bottom.

Reluctantly, she took the dress and went to change.

She hesitated, but his pleading look swayed her. She’d never worn anything this revealing, not even for her late husband.

The dress was beautiful, and she wanted to try it on, so she gave in.
