EP.299 Hypnosis Plea   Riki (1)

So it actually worked.

The erotic item I bought this time from Eronet was the “Shame Maximization Transformation Potion.”

It was so unpopular, even the witch-like clerk who delivered it gave me a look as if to say, Why on earth would you buy this?

But contrary to expectations, it worked far better than I imagined.

Bruno appeared with the happiest face in the world, and Rei, face flushed scarlet with shame, stood beside him.

“Truly, thank you. To think you would present me with such a gift.”

“Th-thank you very much. Because of you, I was able to make Master happy.”

‘To be thanked for this… it really leaves a bitter taste.’

If it were some kind of good deed, that would be one thing.

But to make someone end up like that, and then get thanked for it?

Even in this altered common-sense world, that still felt heavy on me.

Both of them had even broken free of the altered common sense now.

Which made it even harder to accept naturally.

“What will you do moving forward? Perhaps stay a few days here to rest…”

“I appreciate the offer, but my journey continues.”

Out of the seven Reverse Change members besides Olivia,

I had finally persuaded one.

Which also meant six remained.

Thinking of that, I had no time to rest easy here.

“Is that so? A shame. But what if your companions stayed here for the time being? I, and Rei as well, feel regret letting you go just like this.”

“…Hmm.”

That was a generous suggestion.

With so many companions, finding lodging in every place was exhausting.

And I always felt guilty dragging them along while they did little else but follow me.

Perhaps it would be wise to accept the hospitality here.

Even if something dangerous occurred, the group should be safe enough.

‘After all, I have two combat-capable S-rank onaholes, plus Nami. And even Yumi and Maria won’t be easily influenced. It should be fine.’

But… what if all this generosity was just a façade?

Even so, that wouldn’t matter.

Before leaving, I’d place protective hypnosis so no harm could come to them.

Hypnosis toggle clicks annoyed me,

but for my companions’ safety, it was the only choice.

“Very well. Then I shall entrust my companions to you.”

“Fufu, worry not. Rei and I will take great care of them. Isn’t that so, Rei?”

“Y-yes! We will serve them wholeheartedly and let no inconvenience befall them!”

Fine. I’ll send word for the others to come here.

That left only the question where should I go next?

There were three possible nearby destinations.

But I had no information about who was located in each, nor any particular reason to choose one over another only that these were close.

This time all three were about the same distance away.

‘So which is best… huh?’

Bruno had stepped to my side without me noticing.

His eyes weren’t on me, but on my phone.

He was staring at the map of where the Reverse Change members resided.

“Headed to meet another of them?”

“Yes. My goal is to meet them all.”

“Then allow me to recommend this one.”

Bruno pointed toward a spot.

Just a nearby city center in another country.

Nothing outwardly special.

But those steady eyes he fixed on me wavered my heart.

“And why this one?”

“Simple. Over there, Blanc sleeps now in hibernation you won’t find him even if you go. Another, Haben, is a very difficult man best to see him later. That leaves one choice.”

So then, only one answer from the beginning?

Still, Bruno’s clarity saved me the trouble of wasted time.

“The one there is Riki. For you, she will be the easiest to convince.”

“Easiest to convince?”

That phrasing… was strange.

Too easy suspicious, somehow.

Could I really trust Bruno’s suggestion?

Or should I skip farther away, seek another instead?

I debated briefly,

but decided to follow his recommendation in the end.

After all, in the end I had to meet them all. It was only a matter of order.

Why waste thought on something so picky?

“Thank you for the recommendation.”

“And thank you for trusting it. You will satisfy her, no doubt. Rei, prepare now to welcome our guests.”

“Yes, Master!”

And so Bruno and Rei bustled off, leaving only Sahwa and me.

The silence weighed heavy.

“Are you sure about this, Mr. Jinwoo?”

“It’ll be fine. Whatever the suggestion, my path wouldn’t have changed much.”

Though Bruno’s words carried suspicion,

my instincts also urged me toward Riki’s location.

And if my instincts were certain, then at minimum it wouldn’t be a complete failure.

“Then I will prepare for immediate departure.”

“Yes. I’ll prime Bruno and Rei with a bit of protective hypnosis. Once Red arrives, we leave.”

Now then let’s see what sort of person awaits us ahead.

I left my companions in Bruno’s mansion and headed out with Sahwa aboard Red, bound for our next destination.

It wasn’t far on the map,

but even with Red’s speed, the journey wasn’t trivial. By other means, it would have been much longer.

“Red, set us down nearby.”

“Understood, Master.”

We couldn’t simply fly right into the heart of the city,

so we touched down somewhere secluded then walked the rest of the way.

Funny though… for supposed terrorists, they seemed to live pretty comfortably.

Before the altered world, people like this would’ve hidden in wilderness, evading governments.

But this time, it was right in the middle of a busy district.

And the building a small doll shop.

‘This is really it?’

Skeptical, yes. But if Olivia’s map was right, here it was.

At least the door was open. I reached out

Then Sahwa caught my wrist.

“Mr. Jinwoo. I should go first. Once I confirm safety you enter after.”

“…Thanks.”

That was just like Sahwa

to step into riskfully without hesitation, then calmly return no matter what she found.

She slipped inside, and after a short pause, peeked her head out.

“It’s safe.”

“Then let’s go.”

I entered, and was struck speechless by the scene.

A doll shop. A real doll shop.

Fancy trinkets, shelves lined, nothing shady.

I’d thought “doll shop” meant selling adult real dolls as if they were just puppets.

But these? Sewing seams invisible, joints natural.

So clean, as though the arms had always been attached.

Craft of this level and yet she was a member of Reverse Change?

The world never failed to surprise how impossible it was to judge someone by one face alone.

“Who?”

A voice called from within.

Out stepped a woman with golden hair, bangs covering her face.

Through the strands, cool blue eyes peeked to meet mine.

They wavered, ever so slightly.

Seemed Olivia had indeed spread word of my approach far and wide.

But better that than wasting words to explain.

“You must be Mr. Kim Jinwoo?”

“Yes. And you you’re Riki?”

She nodded.

Unlike any woman I’d met yet, her chest was smaller.

In this twisted world, most women carried melons on their chests.

By that standard, hers were almost modest

though by reality’s measure, still wonderfully shaped.

Enough, in fact, to fill my hands perfectly.

“I… I have a request right away.”

“A request?”

She suddenly gripped my hand, voice quivering.

What could she possibly need from me?

I eyed her cautiously.

She breathed in shakily several times, then blurted loudly

“Please hypnotize me!”

“…Hypnosis?”

That was it? That was her plea?

Surely Reverse Change’s tech could manage that themselves.

Given they had staged terrorist attacks, hypnosis should be the least of their capabilities.

My skepticism must’ve shown.

Riki stammered on:

“T-truth is, I have such extreme resistance to hypnosis… that ordinary methods never work on me.”

“Ahh. I see.”

My eyes went to Sahwa as understanding settled.

Sahwa herself, by my side, was similarly resistant no ordinary hypnosis app touched her.

So someone like that existing in Reverse Change? No surprise.

But then for her to demand I hypnotize her?

“So… do you have a condition in mind? Or something you want to become?”

“T-that is… I want to be wrecked by hypnosis. I want you to hypnotize me, then use me however you please.”

That… that was almost too easy.

So that was why Bruno directed me here?

He must’ve known must’ve steered me comfortably on purpose.

Well with that clear, no more hesitation was needed.

I pulled out my phone, launched the hypnosis app, and held it to her face.

“Ohhh! The famed hypnosis app I’ve only ever heard of!”

“Exactly. Just focus here.”

Her eyes followed the pink patterns as they filled her pupils.

Excited, she kept watching, then turned to herself with eagerness.

“Am I finally… hypnotized?”

“No. Not at all.”

“Ehhhhh?”

Her eyes looked entranced, pink-rimmed, but her reactions told the truth.

She wasn’t hypnotized.

Confirmed.

She was at least at Sahwa’s level maybe beyond.

The app couldn’t touch her.

If it had, she wouldn’t have been speaking rationally with me now.

She’d have fallen slack, in a trance, awaiting orders.

“T-to think… even the hypnosis app can’t affect me. Perhaps this world really deserves to end…”

“True, the app won’t work. But that doesn’t mean I have no options.”

“Wh-what? You mean there’s another way?”

Yes.

Even if hypnosis apps failed,

I possessed another kind

The powers of an Outer God.

Hypnosis so strong even resistant Sahwa fell prey.

“Th-then, please wait just a bit! And… could you please record me while under hypnosis too?”

“That’s easy enough.”

No challenge in that at all.

What I had to do wasn’t changing.

Riki led me further into the shop.

Inside, lights for filming, a massive bed,

and no less than five professional-grade cameras, each worth thousands.

This place was more lavishly set up than any AV studio.

“Please hurry. Hypnotize me. Now!”

Begging breathlessly, she sat down on the bed.

Perfect.

Very well, then. Time to hypnotize her.

See you on the other side, Riki.
