EP.265 Omen (15)

I decided to move and first check on Meril, the weakest among my female dogs, heading slowly toward the mansion.

Since I wasn’t yet sure the culprit was Anne, I calmly observed my surroundings, thinking about how to dispel this suspicious magic.

[Master… M-Master… please… help me…]

Suddenly, I heard Meril’s voice carried on the magic, which surprised me so much that I stopped in my tracks.

The other female dogs each had considerable talent in their own fields, so they learned to handle magic quickly.

But Meril was different aside from having given birth to two daughters qualified to be saints, she was just an ordinary woman with almost no notable talents.

So I tried to connect to Meril’s mind, feeling quite flustered.

[You think you can hold out just because you gave birth to a saint? No one’s coming to save you, you know that?]

[…]

[Nothing will change if you keep resisting. Just ]

Some fucking bitch was harassing my female dog, pouring a considerable amount of magic into Meril’s mind.

Since I’d heard that another female dog had suffered the same way, I was immediately sure this bitch was Anne.

So I slowed my steps even more and tried to communicate with Anne, planning to absorb as much of Anne’s magic as possible.

I thought that, as Bell mentioned, if I used the magic I absorbed when offering Aris as a sacrifice, things would go much more smoothly, even if tracking her right away would be difficult.

Of course, I didn’t expect the process of absorbing her magic to be easy. She wouldn’t have planned the Demon King’s resurrection alone, so she must be a fairly capable demon.

Still, I thought the chances of success were quite high, given all I’d learned about Anne so far.

First, after bickering with Elina for a long time, they seemed to have similar personalities.

Honestly, their relationship was such that if either side ignored the other, it would be over so it was just a matter of two of a kind getting along.

In terms of individual ability, Elina was far superior, especially in “bitch power”.

Elina, despite being a low-grade goddess with small breasts and having tried to use me as a pussy cleaner at first, and acting like a mess until her sisters showed up, still secured her place as my female dog thanks to her unique pink-haired goddess cuteness.

In contrast, Anne, from everything I’d heard, was far from cute.

I hadn’t met her in person or seen her body, but I was sure that no matter how much data I gathered, she could never surpass Elina.

However, in terms of intelligence, Anne seemed to be much higher.

Sorry to Elina, but I had to admit that.

Just thinking back a bit, the conclusion was obvious.

From the moment Aris decided to make a contract and lose her virginity to me, she was being fucked like a dog…

Meanwhile, Elina holed up in her temple in the clouds, using me as masturbation material all day until she passed out, not even realizing she was humiliating me that way.

If I try to be optimistic, maybe she just made a mistake because her dream of giving me her virginity was so big…

But my time in the Hero’s Party wasn’t short, and she’d sometimes suggest I quit and contract with her instead.

If I’d doubted her just once back then, the whole world line centered on me would have changed, so I can’t help but wish Elina had been a little smarter.

Meanwhile, Anne seduced Saint Aris over many years, squeezing out my magic and achieving her plan to resurrect the Demon King.

Anne’s planning skills deserved recognition.

She spent years seducing a saint, making her a puppet, and in the process, wrecked a Hero’s Party.

Most surprising of all, that long process only came to light recently.

Given all this, it was probably best not to approach her rashly she might have backup plans if her scheme was discovered.

But when I layered Elina’s meticulous planning image onto Anne, she suddenly seemed less like a mighty demon and more like a potential low-grade bitch.

No matter how much of a planner she was, if she had a personality similar to Elina’s, it would be easy to provoke her just a little prodding and her true nature would show.

[You babbled like a madwoman to my female dogs, so why are you shutting your mouth in front of me?]

[…]

[Hey, Anne. Answer.]

[…Ha, some retarded slave keeps making noise.]

Just like that.

[What did you just say?]

[What? Can’t admit your bitch is an idiot?]

[…]

I stayed quiet, curious what she’d say next.

Then Anne started giggling and talking more excitedly.

[Honestly, isn’t it true? I’ve been spreading magic everywhere, and you were too busy fucking your bitches to notice.]

[So you’re saying you openly spread magic to my female dogs?]

[I did it openly. You’re so dumb, just like your master, that you didn’t notice until now and are only freaking out now.]

[I know I’m late, but I’m not under anyone.]

[Ha? The moment you contracted with that pathetic goddess, you became a slave.]

Anne kept mocking me and Elina, saying whatever she wanted.

With a personality like that, it’s easy to see why she and Elina are such a pair.

[So why are you suddenly doing this?]

[No reason.]

[Just bored?]

[Yeah, of course.]

And just like Elina, she was terrible at hiding her feelings her voice betrayed her emotions every time.

Thanks to that, I’d already gotten all the information I wanted.

Until just now, I hadn’t understood why Anne fed Frey information about “offering herself as a sacrifice.”

But after hearing Anne’s overly theatrical tone and the rest of the conversation, her motives became much clearer.

From the start appearing before Aris and Elina, extracting magic-laced milk, announcing the Demon King’s resurrection, and leaking information about the sacrifice ritual it was all probably to draw me in.

She wanted me to desire a new saint to replace Aris, so I’d seek out the Demon King’s location, and now she was pushing me to offer Aris as a sacrifice.

In the end, it seemed the goal was to erase Aris, the obstacle, from this world.

[So? Do you want me to kill Aris for you?]

I heard Anne’s mouth click shut, followed by a barely suppressed giggle.

If she’d just laughed openly, I might have doubted her, but she was clearly trying to hide it from me.

Maybe she’s even simpler than Elina.
