im running into this issue on my rog ally. It will tell me to run steam rom manager to update some .ps1s but i cant until its done loading and it just spins flying koopas all day long.

I recently updated and I’m on the “Emudeck is loading. Please wait a few seconds if this takes too long to restart…” I’ve restarted emudeck and I’ve restarted my Legion go and it’s still stuck on this loading and it’s doing the same thing… EDIT Let it sit for a good long time, and it finally switched over. I would suggest changing the verbiage here from wait a few seconds to this could take several minutes.

How do I add the Ryujinx parser to SRM? I've installed the emulator but no parser got added.

Using this on a Legion Go. So far only having issues with tg16-cd and psx (psx rearmed) and neither can find the bios, although I've dropped them into the "bios" folder. PSX constantly loads and says can't find bios, and defaults to crappy built in bios. Is there some other place to put them, or a way to point to the bios from within the emulator? Kinda scratching my head on this. NES and regular TG16 are working fine because they don't require bios files.

So I installed Emudeck on my Windows Laptop - this didn't have Emudeck installed before - and the same thing is happening. When I try to launch stuff like ESDE the icon pops up then it vanishes and the app doesn't load. What's going on guys?

I'm not sure where this question should be posed, so I'll try here and see where it goes. I installed EmuDeck on my Lenovo Legion Go and I'm encountering a few issues that I'm not seeing on my ROG Ally (or SteamDeck). -When starting games in EmulationStation (ES), the emulators/games aren't opening in full-screen for some reason. Is there a setting I need to change? -Also in ES, the controls aren't working as they do on the Ally and SteamDeck [e.g., usually I push in both sticks (L3 + R3) to exit into Retroarch)]. I noticed the ES icon in Steam shows a keyboard/mouse and not a controller. Maybe related? -Maybe my primary concerns point back to the following question, but which installation method should I have chosen for the Legion Go? I went with Windows Handheld, but maybe I should've chosen the ROG Ally since it appeared to work well (at least on the Ally itself)? Thanks for any assistance.

So on my ROG Ally I have the problem with some of the Emulators and programs that they do not launch. For Emulationstation / Dolpin for example the icon pops up on the task bar so it does try to run but it instantly closes without any message.In the case of Ryujinx the usual command prompt style screen runs but it then closes before the main app interface loads. I have tried to reset config / update / reinstall / remove and newly install the offending apps but still they do not work.They were all working fine when initially installed so appear to have been borked by an updates to either EmuDeck or Windows / Ally. Did anyone else have this issue or can recommend what to try?

I'm having issues running the steam Rom manager on my Ally. I toggled the parsers that I wanted and it's saying to click the preview button but there isn't one. Left to right ist showing "Add games, Log, Settings, Exceptions, Parsers". I added all my games to the rom file and steam is shut down. Is there a step I'm missing or something?

Before = retroach\saves\mGBA\PokemonLeafGreen.srm and AFTER = retroarch\saves\PokemonLeafGreen.srm

After this update, my retroarch game saves keeping getting moved out of the emulator folder and to the root of the save folder. This is preventing my games from seeing my saves files.

Is the early access discord still open? Cuz I need help and can't solve an issue installing emudeck :(

I reset the SRM config but now there is no more snes9x for super Nintendo for emulator???

All my retro games and emulators are broken since I do this update. I parse with steam manager but I see that all my link are with .bat but no .bat but .PS1 in the emulators tools launchers directory so what I have to do now. Everything was working like a charm and now nothing is working I just do not know how you can broke everything like that :(

Edit: Running .bat file resolved my issue.................................. For some reason EmuDeck is unable to recognize the SD Card that has been used since initial install on my ROG Ally. Additionally I tried a newly formatted SD card which is also not recognized by EmuDeck. When I attempt to select a Custom Directory I can see drive D however I receive the error message "There was an error detecting your storage..." any idea how to go about resolving this ? Or is it a matter of waiting for an update ?
