EmuDeck WE 2.1.12 aka "Controller Galore"

We wanted to focus on controllers for this new release since we have a lot of workarounds in place to get everything working and still we have all these issues:
- Mandatory manual configuration for some emulators
- Manually setting up Steam Input for desktop
- Steam Deck controllers not working
- Steam Controller not working either
- Uncertain future compatibility with Asus Log Ally / AOKZOE A1 PRO and third party controllers
- Only one player available to play
- Some emulators couldn't be closed using START + SELECT
- Switch Pro controller having the BAYX buttons reversed on Nintendo systems
Well, I'm happy to announce that those issues are all gone after this new update :)
Gyro controls are still being tested and are not present in this build, those will be easier to update on the future with just one click for both the Switch Pro Controller and the PS5 Dual Sense.
Instructions - Please READ carefully.
1 - Update EmuDeck, then go to Manage Emulators -> Reset Yuzu, Ryujinx, Citra, Dolphin, DuckStation and SRM
2 - Open Steam Rom Manager and disable all parsers except EmulationStationDE, Emulators, Yuzu, Ryujinx, Citra, Dolphin, and DuckStation ( you don't need to re parse other systems )
3 - Click on Parse -> Remove from Steam
4 - Click on Parse -> Save to Steam
This will enable Steam Input on all those systems, so any controller will work as a virtual Xbox Controller, with this change every emulator or system we might add in the future will be configured automatically!
All emulators should have now 4 players configured. For Wii to avoid having 4 cursors on screen they are disabled, you'll need to enable them on Dolphin manually, but they are already configured so no need to do anything besides that.
That's all, after doing this every emulator should work out of the box, please report any issue you might encounter :)
If for some reason you have problems using your controller with any other systems, just do the same steps. It's not needed to re parse your whole library in this update but it certainly is recommended if you can.

im trying to add two emulators (xemu and xenia) to ES but I can't find : es_systems.cfg in my c: im using the windows version on the rog ally. can you please help me

Thank you for the quick reply though and loving the Integration with steam and the work you've done :) I'm a new user, coming from retrobat and most of it is familiar, so will hopefully get there with it.

2023-06-12 19:07:35 +0000 UTCThe yuzu screen is normal when you have more than one gamepad and yes, I hate that too. Please check that your games have the Emudeck Steam Input profile added, I guess the 8bitdo should use the Xbox profile. Also select and start are long press, so you need to hold them for a few seconds

2023-06-12 19:03:58 +0000 UTCJust installed the latest Windows release and I'm having issues with hotkeys and controller on certain emulators, yuzu for example won't close with the start+select, and every time I open a game it comes up with the controller profile box and I have to select controller and profile etc. Once i select them the controller works fine. Duckstation, cemu, ppsspp are also not working with the exit hotkeys of start+select. Controller is the 8bitdo ultimate. Is it worth uninstalling and starting again?
