Back in 2021, I did a quick and dirty breakdown of how Sentinel got its start and set out to debunk a bunch of nonsense that had been parroted in the community forever. As I'm going through and basically translating everything from the mook (sans the model pages) as I wind down the last few chapters, I figured it was time to post the full translation of that article here for everyone to read. I went and bought another copy of the first issue of Model Graphix that announced the project's start because I'll be darned if I can figure out where it vanished. Despite having a hyper-organized collection, issues seem to go poof!, sadly. At any rate, I'll be adding translated material from those spreads in the near future.
