2025-12-20 16:32:46 +0000 UTCI would have to do some digging to find where I read this, but I recall that Hugh Laurie has talked about having struggled with depression for most of his life, and that the time he was doing House was a particularly rough time, which I expect plays a large part in him not wanting to participate in any retrospective-type interviews about the show.
