Added 2023-10-14 15:16:58 +0000 UTCI'm sorry I haven't posted here for a while. I wish I could say it's because I'm working on something you'll see soon, but aside from the Fionna and Cake promos (and a small illustration job that I can't share), I haven't been able to create anything.
I've tried to work on a test comic for Starvale, but every time I've attempted it, I've just ended up feeling depressed and self-loathing. I don't usually share these feelings online, and I'm not looking for pep-talk or anything. I'm not even sure why I'm writing this. maybe to let you know not to expect anything for a while? I'm gonna pause so you won't be charged, but idk... maybe I should just delete my whole Patreon?
Everything feels very pointless right now, I'm sorry.

2023-10-15 01:20:26 +0000 UTCI totally understand. Drawing is super hard and the world is crazy. It's common and understandable to get discouraged. I was feeling really down and discouraged last week with drawing, so I decided to learn how to play a song on piano. I'm not a great pianist, so it is slow work. But learning something else and putting my brain in that learning mode for something other than drawing has helped make drawing feel easier and less scary. Might be worth a try if you play an instrument or do anything else creative beyond drawing.
