Starvale writing
Added 2023-02-21 17:00:03 +0000 UTCI have no idea if anybody finds this interesting, but I'm gonna ramble for a bit. Here's (intentionally illegible) screenshots from the document where I'm writing on bullet points for Starvale:
It's grown huge and I only have myself to blame.
I don't intend for projects to get this big, but they always seem to do so. It's not an epic story! I just keep thinking of little things I wanna put in there, and the pacing I want, and it just grows, little by little.
I have no idea how I'm going to be able to turn this into anything, unless I just start doing it. I'm thinking of the chapters as single issues, like episodes of a tv show, and trying to write them in a way that they can stand on their own without relying on a big arc. I can't tell if I'll succeed with that! but it's my goal.
Here's a closeup of some of the bullet points for the Prologue, along with some brainstorming sketches (drawn before the bullet point list)
It's in process, but I keep flitting around the document and I think I should just focus on the beginning and finalize it. My next step should be drawing the prologue!
I honestly don't think about this story as something others will enjoy, but I want to make it for myself, and... idk... it would be fun to share it and have at least a few people be into it? I want to try it out :)
