Hegarth is gentle and sympathetic, with a strong sense of justice and a ton of guilt. He takes care of Tommen like an older brother, and will sometimes tease him (but never provoke). Hegarth is pleasant with new people but almost impossible to get close to. He will put all focus on others to avoid talking about himself and his past. Hegarth likes to feel needed.
Tommen is a curious strong-minded kid with a tendency towards impulsivity and carelessness towards others. He's quick to both anger and excitement. He complains a lot, but eventually always listens to Hegarth, whom he secretly idolizes. Tommen has a jealous greedy nature and can be very needy. He might not give the most appealing first impression, but he's loyal and will easily get attached to people.
Carrie is a mysterious girl. She gives the impression of an abandoned kitten? She accepts Hegarth without question because of his tender nature, but is actually more curious about Tommen.
okay! that's the main cast for volume 1!
perhaps I'll do another one of these once I get to the other parts of the story in my sketchbook. I'm 30 pages in and I've actually not managed to get past the events of the Third Wheel comic yet.
