Starvale - Introduction

Starvale is a cozy comedy/drama* with a bit of romance and supernatural mystery! The story takes place in a fictional small town in northern Sweden, in some sort of 90's+present mashup. It's about a 19y old girl who moves back home, finds her town changed, and about how these changes affect her and her old friends.

Starvale has gone through a lot of changes! It started in 2016 as a short comic for Peow, before getting abandoned for a few years. Then I picked it up again with the thought of turning it into an animation pitch (I still have a lot of ideas that would be cool to see in a tv-series!), but as I was working on the pitch I fell back to wanting it to be a comic. Perhaps I'll change my mind again! For now though, I'll be working on it towards the goal of turning it into a comic!

After I've finished my general outline maybe I'll make a rough version of the comic and try it out here? we'll see! But for the present I'll share sketches and story notes and designs and character descriptions and all that. Sharing to help myself answer questions and make descisions.

*since I'm still working on the story, the tone might change. Perhaps it'll be mostly silly, or turn more contemplative, or lean heavier on the romance or mystery? we'll find out together!
