In 2014 I published this comic with Peow Studio called "New Frontier - Third Wheel"

New Frontier is a retro-futurisic slice-of-life drama/adventure, disguised as soft sci-fi. The story takes place in an alternate reality early 2000. It's about two orphan boys aboard a decaying space station, and the events following their meeting of a young mutant girl.

Third Wheel was supposed to be the first part of a series of comics, but I never got around to making more - mainly because I had turned it into such a huge project, and partly because I started working in animation later that year. I had pages and pages of ideas and rough sketches and story notes, though, and I've never really given up on the idea of turning it into something.

I won't make a multi part comic (I can't seem to stick to one thing long enough for that?), but I want to share the concept of this comic, so I've started on a sketchbook which I want to publish as some sort of comic concept/behind-the-scenes-of-something-that-doesn't-exist. So that's one of the projects I'll be posting updates from!

The sketchbook looks like this:

It'll go through some edits and story clarifications so people can follow along in the plot once I release the whole thing (if they care about the plot), but for Patreon I'll update with pencils and raw pages as they appear in my sketchbook (like above). And idk, maybe something else? We'll find out! I don't know what I'm doing, but it'll be fun!!
