Abomination of Innovation Chapter 12

[100 CP Acquired!]

“... I don’t normally do this on the first date.” Even while on her knees, Yang couldn’t help but crack a joke as she smirked up at Agito.

She was then smacked on the head by Summer and Raven immediately.

“Oh?” Ozlynn’s eyes sparkled as she stared at the glowing markings on Yang’s body, a flash of recognition and nostalgia on her face. “Almost like a Sentinel’s…”

“Summer, who’s the Ozpin with tits?” Raven flared her nose as Ozlynn stared at her daughter in such a way, unsettled by her gaze even if she wasn’t sure if it was Ozpin or not. She didn’t want Ozpin anywhere near her child, and the same went for the lookalike.

Very nice tits!” Yang added, just to get smacked again by both her mothers.

Ozlynn merely smiled, not at all affected by Yang’s uncouth comment.

“Believe it or not, it’s actually Ozpin… Now, Ozlynn, I suppose.” Summer sheepishly explained, still struggling to wrap her mind around it herself. “Agito turned her into a woman because he couldn’t trust Ozpin… and then she somehow got magic or something.”

“... You can do that?” Yang turned to Agito with astonishment, still kneeling in front of him against her will.

“The Agito is capable of a great many things.” Agito ‘humbly’ responded, staring down at Yang and her markings with a curiously tilted head. “You can get up now.”

As if on cue, Yang finally managed to get up, jumping to her feet and fanning herself as if she had just exerted herself quite extensively.

“That was incredible, I haven’t stayed on my knees for that long before~.” Yang was promptly smacked once again, yet that didn’t lessen her smirk whatsoever.

“Pervert.” Agito accused with a completely blank face, only to be met with a smug Yang.

“You know it~.” Unlike everyone else he’s ever accused, Yang didn’t even try to deny it. In fact, she seemed proud of the fact.

That was certainly a first.

Agito found himself at a loss as he was finally faced with an actual kid around his age.

This level of shamelessness was unbecoming of an adult, so it was certainly a first…

As expected of Summer’s daughter.

“Do you know how to make babies??” Ruby blurted out of nowhere, literally grabbing Agito’s attention as her hands pulled his arm so he looked at her.

“...”

The adults were staring at the young girl with genuine befuddlement, shocked that she’d follow in Yang’s footsteps-

“You mean Treasures? Of course.” Agito was completely nonplussed as he nodded, watching as Ruby’s face lit up like a Christmas tree. “Shinies are collected and turned into beautiful Treasures. Usually.”

“Yes! Treasures!” Ruby nodded rapidly before taking something off her back and presenting it to Agito with sparkling eyes. “My Baby is my Treasure! This is Crescent Rose– She’s a Scythe that can also turn into a High-Caliber Sniper Rifle!”

Rifle…

Why has Agito not yet exercised his 2nd Amendment Rights again?

[MtG - Kamigawa : Neon Dynasty]

[‘Golden-Tailed Graduate’ has been Acquired!]

‘???’ Agito was confused as Golden-Tailed Graduate was given to him without his consent. He didn’t even choose to purchase or skip, let alone try to acquire.

What’s his current balance?

[250 CP Remaining]

‘Huh?’ Agito was lost.

[The Celestial Grimoire previously withdrew the required CP for this ability but forgot to present it. This has been rectified.]

Agito didn’t even choose it, though! This cannot stand!

‘Agito demands compensation!’ Agito exclaimed righteously, refusing to let the Celestial Grimoire decide what he should use his Points on.

[... Appeal Processing.]

[Appeal Accepted. ‘The Agito’ is granted a full ‘200 CP’ refund and given the option of keeping ‘Golden-Tailed Graduate’ for free as compensation for the Grimoire’s oversight.]

‘YEAHHHH! Keep it! I will become the ultimate Samurai!’ Agito shamelessly kept the ability that he’d have bought regardless, happy to have scammed the Grimoire out of more points and a free perk.

Scammer gets Scammed!

Don’t hate the player, hate the game!

Agito smugly returned to reality, finding Ruby still staring at him expectantly as he continued acting like he was inspecting Crescent Rose.

It was fine.

But it could be vastly improved!

“Agito can help improve this Treasure.” Agito offered seriously as Ruby’s eyes sparkled with both joy and curiosity, happy to have her weapon acknowledged as a treasure but confused on how Agito planned to improve it. “I know a trick to make it have infinite ammo-”

Ruby was already upon Agito, with all four limbs tightly constricting around him as she stared into his soul.

“... Infinite ammo?” Her cute, soft voice reached as deep as it could (which wasn’t much) as she demanded, eyes staring at him with intensity that had him slightly worried as he noticed her silver eyes. Like Summer’s.

[Achievement: Infatuate Ruby Rose ‘Crimson Rose’, Protagonist (300 CP added)]

PROTAGONIST!?

AGITO FUCKING KNEW IT. Since saving Summer from her ‘destined death’ and learning of her daughters, he was sure one of them was the Protagonist.

He thought it was Yang considering how she was likely the Vermillion Bird’s Resonator or whatever, but it turned out to be the introverted and shy sister instead!

“Summer, your daughter is the main character.” Agito turned to look at Summer even as Ruby clung to him with a death grip, still waiting for him to respond to her demand.

“Huh?” Summer answered dumbly, still watching with astonishment.

“How can you have infinite ammo!? I need to know!” Ruby asked again as she saw Agito turn to her mother, needing to know how she could have infinite ammo in her baby.

The amount of Lien she spends on ammo every time she chooses to use her Sniper Rifle… It was enough for her to buy a bajillion comics and cookies!

“Magic.” Agito answered simply as Ruby pouted and refused to let go, wanting a ‘serious’ answer from Agito. “No, really.”

Agito raised his hand and summoned a small flame in his hands as Ruby froze, turning to stare at the flame in shock before moving back to Agito with a look of utter worship and awe, as if he was god incarnate.

Which he kinda was.

“Ohmygodyouhavemagic!?!?” Ruby spoke at a million miles a second as she realized the ‘Treasure trove’ (pun intended) she had her hands on with Agito here.

Agito nodded sagely, extinguishing the flame… and then suddenly shrinking in Ruby’s arms as she squealed and fell to the ground after he stopped holding her up, still clutching the chibified Agito in her arms.

“Woah…” Ruby’s eyes sparkled as an adorably sized Agito stared up at her, reaching out to gently pinch his cheeks.

Suddenly, both Ruby and Agito were picked up and pulled away from where they were seated as the sound of clashing weapons echoed behind them. Staring up, they both saw Durandal blankly staring ahead after barely pulling them away from where Ozlynn and Summer just clashed.

“Mom??” Ruby exclaimed as she stared over Durandal’s shoulder, seeing her mother fight the Headmaster… mistress of Beacon, for some reason. “Why are they fighting!?”

“You don’t need to know…” Agito stared at the ground blankly, remembering the horrifying time with Willow back when he first shrunk down… He almost looked like a war veteran with his distant gaze and darkened face.

“... Wait, who are you?” Ruby blinked and turned to Durandal curiously, having never seen her in the articles that showed Agito and his exploits. After all, Agito only got Durandal like a day or so ago.

“Durandal is my Shiny. The Unrivaled Sword of Renown.” Agito proudly introduced as any trace of his earlier haunted face disappeared once his Shiny was addressed.

“What!? She’s a…” Ruby was flabbergasted as she looked at the perfectly human-like doll, not doubting Agito at all when he claimed that she was actually a sword. “That’s so cool!”

Durandal only responded with a tiny, almost imperceptible smirk as Ruby’s shining eyes gazed at her.

The three of them were pulled away from the spot Durandal was running to by a telekinetic force, courtesy of a panicked Glynda, as Summer and Ozlynn’s clash reached them and cratered the ground they were just about to walk into.

“The repair costs!!” Glynda lamented with a cry as she watched Summer and Ozlynn continue ignoring her in favor of their impromptu battle. Suddenly, Raven jumped into the fray to back Summer up as Ozlynn deftly dodged a slash at her neck from the merciless mercenary and knocked her away with a mere swipe of her hand.

“Oooh! Is that the um… Shield Treasure you used to save Willow Schnee in that one video!?” Ruby suddenly asked with shining eyes while completely ignoring the chaos happening in the background as she stared at the Relic of Vengeance on Agito’s waist.

Agito’s previously relaxed and lazy face as he was carried by Ruby (who was carried by Durandal) disappeared.

“No.”

His tone said enough, and Ruby easily recognized what was up as her face paled dramatically.

“W-What happened…?”

Agito’s eyes glowed a little as he turned away, raising his chibified arm into the air and reaching into the ‘dark’ confines of his memories as Arena Materialization came to life.

“Watch carefully…” Agito ordered softly as the surroundings began shifting around everyone present, pausing any conflicts or arguments happening as the spectacle unfolded.

This… was Agito’s canon event.

Agito stood solemnly while staring over the edge of Atlas’s outer edges, admiring the view of Mantle beneath him with focus. His face was dashingly handsome, reflecting the depth of his struggles and perseverance as his long, luscious hair swayed in the hair.

Why it was much longer here despite supposedly being a day ago, that was up for interpretation.

“I’ve been expecting you.” He spoke quietly  to no one in particular, still standing in solitude against the perilous wind.

The clearing he stood upon held no other soul, lacking sound beyond the wind’s bellowing gusts and Agito’s soft breathing. However, that soon changed as several dark rifts in space appeared behind Agito with a terrifying, unholy screech promising madness and misery to all who endure hearing it.

Out of the rifts came several Eldritch-like eyes, teeth, and limbs as a booming roar escaped the rift alongside the appearing abomination, stifled only by its own presence as the many eyes and body parts focused their attention on Agito solely.

“To somehow discern my presence despite the several dimensions between us… As expected of you, Agitonator the First, Surveyor of Shinies, Conqueror of Grimm, He Who Faced The Queen, Vanquisher of the Grimmified Timeless, God of Artificing, Deception, Wealth, and Freedom, The Last Divine Beast.” The Eldritch creature spoke with a gravelly voice, voice ashy and raspy. It spoke each of the many titles of Agito with a monotone, leaving anyone listening dubious about whether this actually happened or if it was but a figment of Agito’s imagination.

But no, that’d be ridiculous, right?

“You underestimate the power my eyes hold, Great Old One… Salem.” Agito spoke calmly, still not looking back even after ‘Salem’ appeared. The subliminal way of calling her old being completely an ‘accident’, of course. “That shall prove to be your downfall…”

Agito slowly turned around to stare at Salem with only his right eye… before opening his left to reveal the unique pattern in them as Salem gasped in shock.

Replacing the pupil of his eye… was a glorious, glowing trash can. The sheer power it radiated was beyond anything on Remnant’s surface, past or present.

“You defy me, Agitonator the First, Surveyor of Shinies, Conqueror of Grimm, He Who Faced The Queen, Vanquisher of the Grimmified Timeless, God of Artificing, Deception, Wealth, and Freedom, The Last Divine Beast? You dare, even while knowing just how old I am? Very, very old.” ‘Salem’ spoke as the rifts grew bigger and more threatening, releasing a dark presence meant to intimidate the completely cool and nonchalant Agito.

Why she needed to stress her age is beyond even her.

“You forget, Great Old One, Salem…” Agito calmly stepped forward, his strangely ‘fresh trash can’ scented aura repelling Salem’s as his body began glowing a mighty, blinding light to counter Salem’s darkness. “The older and taller the tree, the harder it falls when cut down…”

Just as the fight was about to begin, a sudden, crisp smack made everything come to a halt as every invisible watcher reappeared and the illusion slowly shattered.

Ozlynn was torn. Her past as Ozma was more than amused at how Agito kept bringing up Salem’s old age… yet she felt strangely displeased now as Ozlynn. After all, she was practically Salem’s age too, technically…

“Salem doesn’t look like that, Agito. It’s quite silly of you to try to trick the few people on Remnant who actually know of her true appearance.” Ozlynn chided, pushing away her inner turmoil at his antics in favor of finally learning of what Salem did in Atlas. Agito never had the chance to explain to Ironwood, after all, and he didn’t speak to any of the agents with him in the airship either.

No one knows ‌what happened in the park. Only that an Agito clone alerted Ironwood of Salem’s appearance shortly after promising to go to Vale as agreed.

Ironwood only had time to send his best agents and airship before Agito was off, having somehow escaped her clutches once more.

Without Ironwood even knowing where they were or what was happening.

That was scary.

Ozlynn had to get to the bottom of things. And Agito has just displayed the ability to perfectly replicate the situation visually and auditorily.

He was not escaping her.

“Can you put me down now?” Agito asked while staring at her unamusedly as she held his chibified form in her arms.

She ignored him, smirking at the furious Summer instead.

She was a millennium too young to be challenging her of all people.

“Please show us the actual encounter with Salem, Agito. Meeting Salem is something few have done in the last few thousand years, your two encounters notwithstanding, so we must properly study her appearance.” Ozlynn ignored Agito’s request and sternly instructed while still holding him, watching as he continued staring at her blankly.

“Of course you’d want to study her ‘appearance’ well.” Agito retorted with a slow blink, leaving Ozlynn recoiling with a slight blush and widened eyes.

What did that have to do with anything!?

Wait…

Ozlynn looked down at herself as she remembered her new body.

Was she the Yuri now!?

“A-Ahem.” Glynda cleared her throat and glared to remind Ozlynn of their current priorities, snapping her out of her daze as she quickly composed herself and cleared her throat in return.

“None of that nonsense now, Agito. Salem is the greatest threat to humanity, nothing more.” Ozlynn spoke seriously, acting oblivious to the accusatory, unimpressed gaze of Agito.

“Fine…” Agito sighed and snapped his fingers, engulfing the surroundings back into his illusion as Arena Materialization resurfaced once more.

This time, Agito, looking just as he does now, could be seen on the ground, rolling around carelessly on the grass in a random park in Atlas.

Suddenly, a shrouded figure appeared behind him just as he launched himself back, blocking the streetlight and alerting Agito as his ears stood ramrod straight.

As Agito was captured by Salem’s chains, Ozlynn’s grip on him tightened slightly as she listened to Salem’s words. Her anxiety only increased as Salem learned of Agito’s ‘true nature’ just as Ozlynn did, meaning her desire to capture Agito would only skyrocket with that in mind.

“How did you escape?” Ozlynn cut in after she couldn’t wait any longer, needing to see how he managed to escape Salem before she exploded from worry.

Agito didn’t reply verbally, instead changing the scene to a few minutes later.

“Were you a mother before, Salem?”

Salem froze… and so did Ozlynn.

“Long, Long ago…”

Ozlynn turned her head away, unable to look at Salem’s sorrowful expression for even a second longer.

She never thought-

She thought-

She…

“... What does this have to do with how you escaped?” Ozlynn asked quietly while hugging Agito’s chibified form closer, feeling how his small hand patted her back to comfort her.

SQUELCH!

The same hand his projection used to stab itself through the heart.

The illusion fell once more as Agito died, leaving much of the conversation between Agito and Salem obscured, just as he intended in the first place.

“After my main body died, my consciousness went to a different clone, and that one became the main body.” Agito calmly explained without any grievance on his face, as if what he was saying was completely and utterly normal.

“Agito, what the fuck!?” Summer exclaimed in horror after watching her ward kill himself in front of her own eyes.

Or at least a projection of when he did, but still.

“It was that or be captured by the Queen of Grimm, relax. Also, Language.” Agito turned to Summer with blank eyes before turning back to look at the frozen Ozlynn, still staring at the arm he used to hug Salem, kill himself, and comfort her. “Are you okay?”

“... I am now.” Ozlynn answered softly, gently setting Agito down on the ground as he finally stood on his own two feet and reverted back to his normal size… which was really only double the size of his chibi form.

“Okay.” Agito nodded and gave her a small pat on the shoulder before quickly hopping back over to where Durandal was still princess carrying Ruby.

“... Why did we allow the children to watch that, by the way?” Qrow decided to ask as he saw Yang’s horrified eyes after seeing Salem and her menacing presence firsthand. That, and Agito killing himself.

“Ah, shit…” Raven groaned and moved to her daughter to snap her out of her horrified daze, smacking her on the head as Yang awoke with a start.

“Language!” Agito reproached even as he moved to Ruby’s side to begin furiously squishing her rounded cheeks to also snap her out of her terror-filled trance.

Arena Materialization couldn’t perfectly replicate Salem’s powerful, overwhelming presence, but even the little that it did was more than enough to completely startle the pair of young sisters.

Not every kid was a literal freak of nature like Agito, capable of confronting the Queen of Grimm herself alone with no weapons, aura, training, and with only a week of experience in this world.

Who needs Aura when you have Aura.

Agito nodded wisely in his head.

“Mmmmph? W-Wha?” Ruby was pulled out of her daze as she felt her chubby cheeks being abused, freezing as she was met with Agito’s face directly in front of hers. Her cheeks immediately became the same color as her cloak as she squeaked and jumped out of Durandal’s arms. “A-Agito! You’re okay!?”

“I’m literally immortal.” Agito crossed his arms nonchalantly and looked down with his eyes closed, nodding his head as he reveled in his own magnificent presence.

Technically true. Just ageless.

“Uwaaaaaah!” Ruby cleared the distance between them in seconds (despite there only being a few meters or so) while knocking Agito to the ground as rose petals danced in the wind behind her after she used her Semblance to move.

“Ow,” Agito said despite not feeling any pain, patting Ruby’s back as she pinned him down while gripping his shirt.

Suddenly, the weight that was on top of him disappeared as Agito blinked and found that woman, ‘Raven’, glaring at him while holding a confused and sniffling Ruby in her arms.

“Huh?”

Agito’s tilted head was an understatement for how confused he was as he stared at the angry woman.

What did the Agito even do!?

“Raven, that boy is Agito.” Summer’s warning voice immediately made Raven’s glare disappear as she turned away with pursed lips. “Agito, that is Raven, my wife.”

Summer moved closer to Agito and kneeled in front of him just as she used to do when speaking to him back in their camp. Her face was weathered, showing just how worried she was since she learned of his second encounter with Salem, and likely since his disappearance from her side.

“Sesbian Lex.” Agito replied with a nod while wrapping his arms around Summer’s neck as he hugged her again, truly happy to see her again after their separation. He hadn’t exactly had the time to properly enjoy their reunion as he was stressing about Ozpin and his plan to switch him to Ozlynn before.

Yang and Glynda choked at the two words he spoke, quickly turning to each other with widened eyes before nodding and saying no more as they suppressed their mortified blushes.

“Who’s that, Agito?” Their composure was shattered once more at Summer’s question as their faces paled dangerously once they saw her pulling back from the hug to stare at Agito with a tilted head.

“Summer-” “Twin sister of Say Gex.”

Glynda tried to cut in and redirect the conversation, but was interrupted as Agito doubled down and pulled out the twin brother, leaving Glynda to start coughing violently at the sheer shamelessness.

“They’re very famous online.” Agito added ‘helpfully’ before having his mouth covered by a horrified Yang as she began chuckling nervously.

“He’s just saying nonsense, mom! It’s a stupid joke kids like us say to each other, you know?” Yang explained with a strained smile, still covering Agito’s mouth with her palm.

Why was her body suddenly burning up? Her markings were glowing…

“Oh! I get it!” Summer’s face brightened up at Yang’s words as she nodded and turned to the bemused Raven. “Hey, Raven, Sesbian Lex!”

Glynda’s coughing intensified.

“Sesbian Lex… Okay.” Raven repeated slowly before nodding her head in affirmation.

Yang’s face blurred between pale white, furious red, and green.

“Hate to be the voice of reason for once, but we’ve been here for too long. It’s time we move the asse… the boy back to base.” Qrow tiredly pointed out after getting tired of everyone’s nonsense, swiping Yang’s exercise water bottle off her waist and handing it to Agito.

“Hey!” Yang complained at having her bottle stolen and given away before freezing in shock as the water turned to wine before her very eyes, courtesy of Agito. “Heyyyy~~”

[Achievement: Charm Yang Xiao Long ‘Yellow Sun’, Vermillion Wildfire (200 CP added)]

Yang’s attitude did a complete 180 as soon as she saw Agito turning water to wine, her face completely flushed and her eyes blurry as she licked her lips hungrily and swallowed back some saliva to quench her thirst.

Suddenly, her markings weren’t the reason her gaze was so heated.

“Summerrrrr! Your daughter is a pervert like you!” Agito inched away from Yang and behind Summer as the older woman sighed exasperatedly.

“She’s a bit troublesome, but she’s very responsible, I promise-” She froze. “What do you mean like me!?”

“What do you mean like her!?” Yang’s eyes suddenly turned predatory as the tea spilled, a smirk creeping up on her face.

“What do you mean like her?” Raven’s face grew dark at the insinuation.

“MOM IS A PERVERT!?” Ruby screamed in shock, her voice echoing across the entire landing strip as every soul around heard her screech perfectly.

“She grabbed my chest inappropriately multiple times while we were facing Salem,” Agito accused while crossing his chest like a wounded maiden.

“MOM/SUMMER IS ACTUALLY A PERVERT!?” x3

“Holy shit, Summer is a pervert.” Qrow blinked in shock before taking a swig of his drink.

“... Despicable.” Glynda looked at Summer with disgust, raising her glasses up to better view the ‘terrible’ woman.

“Huh…” Ozlynn looked down at her hands and made some grabbing gestures, a thoughtful look on her face.

Holy shit, did Agito turn her from being an evil mastermind into being an evil diddler???

Wait…

Salem is a GGGGGilf…

Ozlynn is a GGGGGilf…

Salem wants to touch him.

‘Oh my god, are all the old GGGGGilfs perverted and listed on the Epstein files!?’ Agito was shocked.

Little did Agito know, the files didn’t actually exist. They were just a myth. A fabrication. It was silly of him to even think they were real.

“NO! It wasn’t like that! Really!” Summer exclaimed in horror, furiously defending herself under the shocked and disgusted gazes of her friends and family. “I was only trying to unlock his Aura!”

“She was reaching deep inside of me and trying to touch my most precious part…” Agito’s ears drooped as he admitted this, leaving everyone to gasp in horror as Summer turned to him with a betrayed look.

“Agito! You can’t do this to me!” Summer wailed, lunging to wrap her arms around Agito, only to be stopped in mid air as Glynda swatted Summer on the head with her BDSM- riding crop after freezing her in place with her telekinesis.

“You’ve done enough already, Summer. Don’t make things worse for yourself.” Glynda coldly reprimanded while moving to Agito’s side and taking his hand, leading him away to the airship that’d take them to Beacon. “Let’s go, little Agito. We’re going somewhere safe, okay?”

Agito tilted his head at Glynda before nodding slowly, tugging at Glynda’s hand to make her stop for a moment as he turned towards the Atlesian Airship silently, as if waiting for something.

“Agito?” Glynda asked in confusion, turning to Qrow, who was trailing behind them like a bodyguard, before turning back once Qrow shook his head.

“Waiting for Yinlin. I promised to let her stay with me as long as she didn’t stop me from Shiny hunting and didn’t bring any of the other Atlesian Specialists.” He explained, watching the broken entrance of the Airship patiently before perking up as one of his clones walked out with a familiar red-headed Specialist in tow.

“Ah, Yinlin…” Qrow nodded in recognition, having likely encountered her on one of his missions before. “No fuc- clue who that is.”

Barely caught himself.

“For real?” Glynda raised an eyebrow, surprised Qrow hadn’t met and annoyed every Specialist under Ironwood’s command just to piss off the general.

“Yinlin!” Agito waved at her as she approached, her little puppet doll by her side as the Agito in front of her saluted and disappeared among a sea of golden light.

“Well well well… I thought you’d have forgotten me by now with how eager you were for that reunion with Ms. Rose.” Yinlin chuckled and patted Agito’s head once she approached, nodding her head to Glynda and Qrow as she watched Agito immediately pick up Zapstring once the puppet got close. “Headmistress, Old Crow.”

Qrow paused as he was about to take another swig of his drink, raising an eyebrow at her.

“We’ve met before?” He asked in confusion, befuddled at the familiar form of address.

“Under a different name and face.” Yinlin explained mysteriously, her smile unchanging.

That certainly had an effect on the duo as they quickly cycled through the people they knew, failing to associate anyone in their memories with the woman in front of them.

Their eyes strayed to her ears, a look of doubt on their faces. How could they not remember someone with such distinctly-pointed ears…?

“The ears are a new addition courtesy of little Agito here.” Yinlin easily discerned the unasked question written all over their faces as she answered mirthfully, pinching Agito’s cheek as she spoke of his deeds.

“... Just like how he turned Ozpin into a woman?”

Yinlin froze.

“Huh?”

Yinlin slowly turned to look at Agito, eyes widened.

A blue and yellow butterfly slowly landed on Agito’s head as he looked at Yinlin innocently, his pure, harmless eyes betraying nothing as he looked the part of an adorable, polite little gentleman who could do no wrong.

“Whoopsie?” Agito blinked slowly, tilting his head as if he was free of blame.

“... Are there any other mind-blowing plans you have that I should be aware of prior to their happening, by any chance?” Yinlin asked wryly while crossing her arms, mostly just amused with Agito’s antics more than she was exasperated.

She’s only just starting to see them firsthand, after all.

“I will be stealing a very important relic to Vale’s security.” Agito confessed shamelessly in front of a high-level Atlesian Specialist and two of the highest-ranked Vale Huntsmen and Huntresses.

“Oh? What about Vale’s security?” Yinlin raised an eyebrow, a smirk on her face.

Agito slowly turned back to where Ozlynn was staring at her hands in a daze, still occasionally squeezing the air with glazed eyes.

“She can handle it. Shiny is mine.” Agito decided with finality, reaching up to gently rub the butterfly’s head as it nestled itself in his hair.

He gave Ozlynn unimaginable power. She could pay him back with Shiny, as she rightfully should.

As the four began walking to the Airship while leaving everyone else there (Durandal disappeared at some point after Ruby was no longer in her arms), Ozlynn finally snapped out of her daze and turned to look at Agito’s back with a thoughtful look.

Slowly, she took out her Scroll from her pockets- It was in her coat’s pocket now… Why did women not have pockets in their pants??

“James.” Ozlynn greeted, freezing as she was immediately hung up on. She called again. “WSSFOI. Don’t hang up, it’s me. Yes, I know I sound like a woman right now, that’s not important.”

Ozlynn sighed as the scroll shook in her hand from the intensity of Ironwood’s screams.

“Listen, I remember you had a scientist working on a certain noteworthy project in your ranks, right?” Ozlynn interrupted Ironwood after hearing his curses for long enough, still staring at Agito’s back as he walked away. “The one with Dr. Polendina, yes.”

“The girl. Bring her over immediately.” Ozlynn moved the scroll away from her ear as Ironwood began screaming again, sighing exasperatedly as she waited for the sound to die down before speaking again. “Yes, it’s important. No- it’s integral for her to be here now, even if she isn’t ready to undergo combat missions.”

Ozlynn chuckled softly as she heard the line go silent, a classic tactic from James whenever he wants to know more but also doesn’t want to agree or show interest yet.

“Why, you might say? Simple.” Ozlynn smirked deviously as she stared at the Shiny-obsessed boy.

He doesn’t stand a chance.

“Penny Polendina is going to be seducing Remnant’s Savior and tying him down to our side permanently.”

Woohoo! Managed to at least post before a month passed. Not my best achievement, but we take the wins we can get. Mb all. Summer comes with all of the Summer responsibilities. The streak is not dead though, only on pause. Trust.
