陰影を表現します。
なので、比較的早めに完成イラストを観てもらうことが出来ると思います。
(私が口髭フェチなのは今更説明する必要もないと思いますが、)
私はイラスト全体の大まかなペン入れ作業が終わった段階でやっと口髭部分のハイライトの描き込みを入れて口髭のモッサリ感を出します。それはスイーツに例えるなら、イチゴのショートケーキのイチゴを最後の方まで取って置いて、最後の一口で残ったケーキ部分の生クリームにイチゴをぬちくり付けて(@水玉れっぷう隊のケンさん）食べるときの様な最後のお楽しみ感があります。

This illustration is not a color manuscript, but a cartoonish black-and-white screen tone.
Shading is expressed.
So I think you will be able to see the finished illustrations relatively early.
(I don't think I need to explain now that I have a mustache fetish.)
I finally draw in the highlights for the mustache area when I have finished the rough pen work for the entire illustration to give the mustache a thick look.
It is like saving the strawberries from a strawberry shortcake until the very end and eating them with the last bite of whipped cream on the remaining cake portion.
I haven't grown at all since I was a kid.😅
