LTW to be Paused For Now, Why, and What Happens Next

So I just posted the epilogue for book 4 for the $15 patrons, which is most of you. With this final chapter of book 4, I am now putting the original story of Lone: The Wanderer on hiatus.

Why? The main reason is that the plot inconsistencies with the rewrite are becoming too great to actively write into the ongoing story. It is making things a mess.

While this decision may impact me financially as a lot of you LTW only patrons won't have much of a reason to continue to support me, I think it was the wisest and healthiest choice I could have made for LTW's sake.

My basic plan moving forward now is to write 3 chapters per week of SIS instead of 2 and to write 2 chapters per week of LTW's rewrite instead of 1.

Normally, for the rewrite, I've been writing 1 chapter per week and sometimes missing it completely due to it lacking priority.

Now, however, the rewrite has gained popularity and almost unanimous praise for being LTW but better. Book 1 is almost finished in its entirety and with so many minor changes being added to the story or removed from the story, it only makes sense for me to focus more heavily on that.

I know some of you may think 'Really? Again? You already did this shit a couple of years ago'.

Yes but no.

When I stopped the book a couple of years ago to 'rewrite it', I wasn't rewriting it, really. I was touching up the grammar and style but the content remained unchanged.

The rewrite is basically a different story with how much better it is. I even have readers who actively read both it and the original concurrently and they claim to enjoy both.

Basically, what I'm saying is that for LTW to truly shine I need to fix the first few weak books (mostly books 1, 2, and half of 3).

To do that, I need to focus on it and stop splitting my attention.

Now, what does this mean for Patreon?

SIS will remain unchanged besides getting an extra chapter per week.

As for LTW, I will be releasing 1 rewrite chapter per week on RoyalRoad as per usual but I start cycling out the existing early LTW chapters for early rewrite chapters using that 2nd weekly chapter.

Here's a little list thingy to show what I mean:

Chapters in a week: 

                     RoyalRoad - 3 SIS chapters, 1 LTW [Rewrite] chapter, 1 LTW chapter (until it
                                              reaches the epilogue of book 4).

                           Patreon - 3 SIS chapters, 2 LTW [Rewrite] chapters, 1 LTW chapter if you
                                              are not at the 15$ tier and still have more chapters left until you
                                              reach book 4's epilogue, upon which, you will get no more normal
                                              LTW chapters.

Once all of the old LTW early chapters have eventually been released on RoyalRoad and the rewrite has exactly 25 early chapters on here built up from the extra chapter per week, then RoyalRoad will also get 2 LTW [Rewrite] chapters per week.

I really hope this makes sense. It makes sense in my head, haha.

Anyway, long story short, no book 5 of LTW. Please go and read the rewrite as it is very good and even higher rated than SIS on RoyalRoad, at least as far as rankings go.
