Mark of Time on Break, New story, and Future Plans

Hey folks, it's been a while. I've been taking some time off recently with approaching exams to focus on not failing the semester, so chapters have been slow. I've also been doing some planning for the upcoming year, and changes to come. 

First order of business. Mark of Time will be going on a break. I can't give an exact date for when I'll resume the story, which I know I will, not just because I want to finish it but also because I have signed three books and I need to finish them. But since I pretty much made up my mind regarding writing being my full time job, I've decided that I need to improve my patronage. 

I'm hoping to cross 3k a month, to be able to feel relatively secure regarding income, and to that end, I've got a new story planned which will be coming out in January. 

Book 2 of QiMC2 will continue on RR at that point as well, and I'll come out of hiatus to start posting regularly again. I'm really hoping I can get to this checkpoint, because it's a test for myself to see if I can really make it as an author writing webfiction for a living. 

As for the new story, I'll be posting the chapters for it on patreon before they go live on RR, here is the synopsis for the story. 

Noah Brown had never felt like he fit. Since his childhood, he'd been blessed with a gift for fighting. Unfortunately, punching things had never paid his bills, and he had struggled to use his gifts for anything worthwhile. But when a strange encounter had angels and eldritch monsters barge into Noah's life, pulling him into their world, quite literally, he finds himself thriving in his new home instead. 

Here, he will fight monsters, punch horrific abominations, and be summoned by weird cultists that seem to revere him. He will go on to awaken powers that sound strangely sinister, learning mysteries of this realm, all while he explores a brand new world of magic. 

Perhaps now, he would finally have a chance to put his gift to good use.

I just call it Noah, because I still don't have any title for it, and the story is the result of an old idea becoming something new when I started writing randomly to let off some steam one day.
