2023 Update!

Hello and hope your new year is off to a good start! 🎉 I’m planning to use this fresh start to freshen up things around here, starting with THIS— the very first post I have for you in 2023 :>

Comic Updates

I’m excited to say that since my last update here, I have just about finished chapter two: the line art, flats, and word bubbles are done and now I’m just going through the remaining backgrounds / rendering. Chapter three is fully drafted. Chapter one is still awaiting revisions before I order another test copy, but she will be bumped up to a high spot on my priority list this year 👍🏼

Admittedly, I keep forgetting to queue pencilled pages & new scenes. At the risk of making empty promises, I am planning to stay on top of that in 2023! $10+ pencilled pages will go up every other week and $15+ scenes every month. I also want to post more wips & behind-the-scenes of what I’m working on (which I hAVE but struggle to SHARE!!) Just want to keep this page active beyond early pages :’)

Physical Rewards

Speaking of empty promises! I have been stocking up on goodies but neglecting to actually send them out on a monthly basis 😭 I think I’m finally ready to accept that my plate is staying way too full and will probably to switch to a set bi-monthly schedule for sending things out (instead of the monthly goal I set for myself). I’ll start off with a big catch-up and then do my best to stay on top of mail outs (or at least communicating when I can’t💦)

For the big catch up, I have new prints, static clings, and kEY CHAINS that I’ll be sending your way! more details to come, but here’s the key chain design at least 🤙🏽✌🏼

Personal Update

And now for the reason I’ve been mostly AWOL (besides page updates): the last time I updated, I mentioned that Bianca was experiencing some issues with her gums. Unfortunately, her vet and the dental specialist they sent us to couldn’t come up with a remedy for what was ailing her. Miss B was always a toughie, but she was in so, so, so much pain and I finally had to let her go in September. This came about four months after losing Anne. 2022 was just a long damn year. I still miss my girls with my entire heart, but I’m so grateful to be heading into a fresh start and hopefully catching a break from a year full of grief & sorrow :’)

Also I’m pretty sure I brought bed bugs home with me after a quick getaway in October, so I’ve been dealing with that for the past few weeks. 2022, everybody!!

New Year, New Goals

I do love a good new year’s resolution list, so here are the goals I have for my projects this year:

• Get book one print ready! Make revisions, order a new draft, start preorders, the works!!
• Finish book two!!! Maybe even order a test draft for it 👀
• Get a decent start on book three (especially since I’m So Close to finishing book two)
• Dust off the draft I have for A Fish Out Of Water’s second chapter 🐠
• Reach my next big goal here and start posting pages tHREE times a week!!
• Grow & develop my current money makers + create new sources of revenue so I can finally stop torturing myself at my full-time job 🙏
• BE ACTIVE ON PATREON. I’M WRITING IT DOWN, SHOUTING IT AT THE SKY, AND I’M GONNA DO IT THIS YEAR!!
