Script Preview of Jungle Dangers #6

Panel 1:
Ayla looks defiant and determined. Her is spear raised and ready to defend herself as she stands in the murky, ankle-deep water. In front of her is a massive carnictis worm, intent making her its next meal. She is breathing hard, nearly exhausted from fighting, her spear tip aimed at the beastly face of the creature. Standing in a lowered defensive posture, her breasts hanging pendulously. She keeps her eyes locked on the monstrous worm. Behind her are several more of the creatures, writhing around in the water and encircling her. To her left and right are steep cliff walls, and a heavy fog fills the place with an oppressive sense of dread. With nowhere to run, she has to fight.
Panel 2:
The worm lunges forward. With quick reflexes, Ayla ducks down and thrusts her spear towards the mouth of the creature. It pierces upwards, impaling straight through the worms' extended mouth with a splatter of purple blood.

Panel 1:
The injured worm retreats backwards, blood dripping from it's damaged mouth, but others quickly move forward to take its place. Ayla is still facing towards the one she attacked, while the worms behind her get closer.
Panel 2:
Ayla swings around and slashes out at the two worms behind her, the blade of her spear leaving a long gash across the soft flesh of the one nearest to her, blood spraying onto the other next to it. The injured worm retracts slightly at the pain, throwing back it's gruesome face. Not really a face at all, no, but just a mouth intent on feeding.
Panel 3:
Both worms continue to advance, not disheartened by her assault. The injured worm widens its mouth in silent roar, the toothy maw anticipating her taste.
Panel 4:
Ayla stands her ground, taking another defensive stance, the worms closing in around her even more. Her expression is changing, looking less confident as her eyes shift to look for a possible escape. Her spear is clenched tight but is held low now, as her fatigue increases.
Panel 5:
Close up – struggling to summon all of her energy for the next attack, she grits her teeth and prepares for another attack.
Panel 6:
She raises her spear, ready to stab out again, but is stopped short by one of the worms biting onto her right arm at the elbow. Her eyes go wide, shocked by the strength of the worm.
