This animation snippet is something I was working on during a live stream two weeks ago. I've cleaned it up a bit more and gotten the timing closer to what I want. One of the trickiest parts of the game animation so far has been making the impacts feel weighty enough, and it was the same story here.
It still needs further refinement in some of the motion and drawing but is good enough to use as a placeholder animation in the game. Lots of little details and secondary animation haven't been working on much yet, like adding kicking feet and making the hair work a bit better. I wanted to get the core of the movement right, first. This ending will only be triggered if Ayla's hit points are already low.
I'll be doing another live stream tonight (July 22) and 8pm EST (GMT-5).
