Giant Toad Attack/Catch Animation Draft

 I've been keeping my nose to the grindstone, so much that I forgot to keep everyone informed about what's going on!

Things are coming along nicely with the development on Cretaceous Seas, especially now that ChuCreations is masterfully handling the coding. We've been able to making some decent headway into the attack animations, starting with the giant toad enemy. This little animation draft is very rough but showcases the attack and catch, the fate that will befall Ayla if her HP drops too low when battling against the giant toad. For those interested in learning or better understanding the craft, the final animation will be done on 1s, but it currently drafted on 2s. The last few frames get jerky because they're the extremes with only one breakdown between them and still need to be in-betweened.

Starting in August, the game is going to moving from the crowdfunding we had on IGG and Kickstarter over to Patreon. That'll be the best way to keep Ayla's story going, and we're counting on you all to make it happen. The demo version of the game is scheduled tentatively for the end of July, with fully playable levels intended by the end of August. Despite the current global challenges facing nearly all of us, we're making every possible effort to keep on schedule for our target release dates. In the meantime, comics and animation previews will keep on coming!
