Moving into Game Development

Look at that BOUNCE!!! Okay then, now that I have your attention I'm going to announce my plans for 2019. Once "Black Magic" is finished I'm going to begin pursuing a long-term interest - video game development. Specifically, a vore video game.

The game will have the look of a traditionally drawn animation and the gameplay of a 2d platformer. As an animator, my first priority is to make a visually captivating game. I want it to be downright lush and gorgeous, if possible. This jog cycle was the first test I did to see if I could pull off a character sprite animation with the look I wanted. The fact that the main character is going to be a topless, busty blonde... well, that's just a bonus. ;)

If she looks familiar, that's because the basis of this character design is the girl I drew in the "Cretaceous Seas" comic. I had originally hoped to revisit that story and do an animated version, keeping the look as close to the comic as I could. Then I got to thinking, 'what if instead of just watching the scene unfold you could control where she's flying on the pterosaur? WHAT IF you could play the whole scene? Try to spear the mosasaur, try to swim away if you land in the water? The comic could be turned into a mini-game!'

Well, one playable scene does not make a good game on its own. What we really need to see is more of her world. What are the dangers? What are her struggles? After loads of brainstorming, I resolved to create a full-fledged adventure-peril-vore game that can explore the eroticisim and dangers of her worldscape. Keeping the cave girl motif, the game will be filled with lots of dinosaurs and other large predators. You can also expect to see giant carnivorous plants, quicksand, cannibal tribes, and an array of other perils she must navigate.

The whole point of making a game is for the interactivity and gameplay. With that in mind, there's going to be a strong emphasis on level design and enemy interaction.  Each enemy will have a unique attack and vore animation. Once one of the enemies has eaten the main character on screen in the game, it will unlock additional images (or maybe even comics/animations) related to that particular death scene.

You will also be able to attack and kill most (if not all) of the enemies in the game, so it isn't purely about escaping or surviving against a clock.
I want to build in some real gameplay objectives so that it doesn't just become about unlocking the vore scenes. That will be a huge part of it, naturally, but I'll be happiest with the outcome if it's actually fun to play, too. Admittedly, plot is going to take a backseat to making the game playable and sexy.

It'll be a few weeks still before I can start in earnest, beginning with creating all the character animations. The next few updates will be focused on "Black Magic" and then we'll begin to explore the world of "Cretaceous Seas!"

CANT WAIT!!!

I do plan to come back to doing 3d stuff in the future. The current exploration into the 2d world is a lot of fun but there are certain animations I want to pursue that will only feel right in 3d. Ayla's design is largely based off the 3d character I used in the "Coils" and "Shattered Earth" animations, so I want to keep her look as it is. When I made those animations I had given patrons the chance to vote between different characters and she won the polls. Actually, in every poll I held the character with the largest breasts won the vote lol. On screen she's only going to be about 2 inches tall, so her more exaggerated features should feel considerably less overpowering.

Good luck with the video idea. but may I make a small request? Perhaps decrease the breast size? They kind of remind me of an old woman's a little. Ar a mother with half a dozen children. Could just be me, though. I've never been fan of large breasts =) Despite that, I'm always keen to purchase your future scenes and still looking forward to seeing what you do with your game. Hope you'll still throw in some 3d scenes every so often, though. <3
