Pond Life Page 1 (and some updates)
Added 2018-04-07 15:50:36 +0000 UTC"Pond Life" is the first full comic from Dusko, running with this his cartoon-influenced style. It's a very fun look, and certain different from a lot of what's out there. What do you guys think?

Glad you're enjoying it! And I agree, this style is a lot of fun. One of the most important things in art (and yes, it's easy to forget but this really is art lol) is creating that sense of movement.
2018-04-10 00:50:32 +0000 UTCI really like this series so far. I'm not an artist, so I'm not sure I can full express why. But there's something about the style emphasizing simple lines that gives such a feeling of movement and emotional expression. We open in an idyllic setting of a pond, decorated with lily pads, reeds, birds and a tree. The fairy zig zags back and forth faster than the eye can see, full of energy! The graceful creature comes to a stop, toes of one foot touching a lily pad while her wings suspend her in air. I love the expression of excited joy in her eyes in the third panel. Of course she immediately disrobes to enjoy the cool water, oblivious to whatever dangers might lurk nearby.
