Hey Critical Crew!

Welcome to the new year, and we're kicking off 2025 with one of our most metal release yet (*cue electric guitar solo*)! Metal Magic expands on our Mages' War conflict and puts the spotlight on the Arcanuum's attempts to turn the tides of war away from the technocratic fascists of The Order of the Blank! Take to the front lines with the all new Ferromancy subschool of magic and introduce your world to the devastating might of the Ferromancer player class!

This month brings our latest STL for our Apprentice and Loremaster tiers - the Ferromancer ! This STL file comes presupported by our good friends at TableFlip Foundry.

As always - STL's are NOT backlogged, so be sure to download it locally this month!

Encounters

We've got 5 brand new encounters of varying challenge ratings and settings -ready to drop right into your existing campaigns, or can just as easily be used as a springboard into a new adventure.

Take your players through encounters like: exploring a ruined trade outpost to recover some missing goods, and investigate what decimated the buildings; stumble across a body in a crystal and myconid subterranean cavern and deal with the fall out; and a mysterious metal statue encased in wooden logs and left behind on a horrendous battlefield....

Stat Blocks

You get 5 brand new monster stat blocks of various challenge ratings to bring the bitter threat of winter to your table!

Prepare your table for more Blank vs. Arcanuum content with statblocks like: the Blank's Rusted One (a construct made to combat the rise of the ferromancers and metal magic); and the Arcanuum's latest combatants the Welded Mage and the Iron Maiden - both deadly and fear-inducing in their own rights!

Player Options

New Year, new Player class! This release brings your our full player class - the Ferromancer! This 3/4 caster class focuses on metal manipulation via our latest Ferromancy subschool of Transmutation to help take down the Blank soldiers piece by piece, with class features allowing them to be less fragile than their Wizard or Sorcerer brethren. With three subclass options - the Study of Adamantine, the Study of Gold, and the Study of Mercury - the Ferromancer is a force to be reckoned with!

We also have our latest player race option - three brand new subraces for our molefolk Cristata (originally introduced in our "Edyn Expedition" release). Expand on the cristata with the Adamantine subrace (specializing in defensive capabilities granted by their physical prowess), the Aurum subrace (with their charismatic and prosperous nature), and the Mercuria subraces (with their dexterous, fluid-like composition).

And lastly, we're covering all your player's needs with our 4 latest feats and 3 latest deficiencies, as well as 8 of our latest sigils (magical runes that can be applied to items and equipment to bestow magical features to them)!

Items

We've also got our 5 latest items and 2 latest grafts! Prepare your table for metal warfare with items like the corrosion gun and the giant magnet, and grafts like the magnet hand graft and the shard arm graft.

Spells 

"Metal Magic" introduces our latest Transmutation subschool of magic called Ferromancy, and we've got 27 brand new spells to flesh it out for your table. From low level cantrips and spells like Oxidize and Mark of Metal, all the way up to 9th level with Lodestone (and everything in between).

Maps

We've also got 10 total battle maps (gridded and gridless variations) - ready for the included encounters (or just as easily used as standalone maps).

Tokens

And lastly, we are bringing you  10 VTT-ready tokens for all of your online needs!
