Spooky season is nearly upon us, and what better way to prepare for the ensuing tricks AND the treats that by setting the tone with something dark and ominous?

The Wretched Dead brings your table everything it needs to put the focus on the necromantic side of magic - featuring our latest full player class - The Gravebound - as well as our newest Outsider: The Broken. With a plethora of new monsters (and THREE monster templates), your table will feel the fear!

Player Options

September debuts our latest full-player class - The Gravebound! This class is perfect for anyone who has ever wanted to lean heavily into the necromancy, but without the same degree of fragility as the bog-standard Wizard and with a lot more necromantic power and thematic elements than WotC's necromancer. With three subclass options - the Hemomancer, the Oseteomancer, and the Sarcomancer you can reskin your soul's companion with the included monster templates, raise an army of undead minions, and venture forth into battle as you harvest power from killing enemies, using it fuel a whole suite of class featues, as you strive towards the ultimate forbidden knowledge - lichdom!

We also are bringing you our latest player race - the vulturefolk known as the Ossivul. Known for having a deep connection to death and decay, not only as scavengers, but as keepers of ancient secrets and guardians of the dead, Ossivul conduct solemn rituals and protect the remains of the deceased from desecration. Despite their grim reputation, the ossivul are known for their wisdom and foresight, often sought by those who wish to consult the spirits of the dead or learn from the annals of history preserved in ossivul crypts.

And lastly, we're covering all your player's needs with our 8 latest feats and 4 latest deficiencies.

Printable STL

This month brings our latest STL's for our Apprentice and Loremaster tiers - the Driftsong Whale Skeleton! This STL files comes presupported by our good friends at TableFlip Foundry.

**NOTE - Due to some issues in post-processing, the STL will NOT be available with the initial release.

All Loremasters and Apprentices will be notifed when it is uploaded into the Google Drive folder for the month. For Patreon and into your library for Tribes.**

Encounters

We've got 5 brand new encounters of varying challenge ratings and settings -ready to drop right into your existing campaigns, or can just as easily be used as a springboard into a new adventure.

Investigate a morgue with some strange happenings after hours, and find out what's really going on; venture deep within a crypt and solve a deadly riddle surrounding an altar to a long-forgotten undead outsider; and trek through a dark forest, as you follow a creature quoting soliloquies ??

Stat Blocks

You get 5 brand new monster stat blocks of various challenge ratings to bring to your table - break their hearts with the undead version of our Award Winning Driftsong whale - the Driftsong Whale Skeleton; strike fear into their hearts with the Zombie Venatorarmus; set their stomachs turning with the corpse-collecting and -absorbing Osmomort; and control their destinies with the divine intervention of our Outsider of Undead - The Broken!

You also get access to our THREE latest monster templates - the Skeleton template, the Zombie template, and the Vascul template (bloody, undead cardiovascular systems)  - to make for easy reskinning of existing monsters into new, thematic variants!

Items

We've also got our 5 latest items and 2 latest grafts! Reward your players with items like the Cloak of the Dead and Staff of Reanimation, and help the players augment their physical bodies with Charnal Arm graft or Flaming Skull graft!

Spells 

September also brings you our 9 latest magic spells - with plenty of new necromancy and blood magic spells like Exsanguinate and Grasp of the Dead!

Maps

We've also got 6 new battle maps ready for the included encounters (or just as easily used as standalone maps). These maps are available in both gridded and gridless variations.
