We've got another first-look at one March's upcoming creatures from the Lovecraftian- and Horror-themed "The Madness of Ashioggd'lin". Check out the Dimensional Shambler for today's WIPWednesday!
Dimensional shamblers are wretched creatures that phase from one plane to another, sowing discord and terror wherever they go. They frequently pop onto one plane of existence, snatch prey, and teleport back to Ashiogdd’lin or some other wretched place, leaving no trace of their presence. In some cases, entire villages might disappear overnight, food still warm on the table, as a grouping of dimensional shamblers teleports in to feed, dragging their victims through the cosmos back to Ashiogdd’lin.
Many believe dimensional shamblers are heralds of The Dreamer, venturing to other planes to spread his madness and corruption. Because of their ability to travel easily through the planes, some seek out the service of dimensional shamblers, though they are often driven mad or slain by the very creatures they seek.
