Time for your mid-week preview for next month, for WIPWednesday! This week, we've got the Baku! I'm especially excited for, and has been deemed by my 5 year old son as his favorite monster we've done yet (but he also tends to say that fairly often too lol.) Check out the excerpt below from the lore of the stats and let us know what you think in the comments!
Baku are curious yokai that devour dreams, specifically nightmares. These creatures are the sworn enemies of night terrors and The Dreamer. Their presence in a home is considered to be a good omen and a sign of an outsider’s favor.
Baku gain sustenance from devouring the dreams of others, meaning they are often found in regions populated by sentient creatures such as humanoids and are particularly fond of regions where children are populous, chasing off and devouring their nightmares.
