June is taking us away from the frontlines of the eternal struggle of the Mages War between the Order of the Blank and the Arcanuum, and instead towards crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches. But don't let the idyllic tropics fool you... these seas are rife with colossal living islands, cut-throat pirates, and the threat of the coral-cursed lying just below the surface everywhere you turn.

We've got 5 brand new encounters of varying challenge ratings and setting, ready to drop right into your existing campaigns, or can just as easily be used as a springboard into a new adventure.
Explore a remote island that's secretly a living, breathing creature; cross paths with a crew of dastardly pirates luring others to their deaths; or take a job investigating a coral reef that hides the nest of a reef dragon.

You get 5 brand new stat blocks of various challenge ratings, centered around the seas of the Scattered Isles as well as our latest monster template - Coral Cursed - and one new machine statblock - a strange vessel formed almost entirely from coral, seaweed, and other sea life - Coral Galleon!
Check out our latest creations like: the Parrotbear - the tropical-cousin of the owlbear, sporting bright colors and a ridiculously strong beak; our latest dragon - the Reef Dragon - perfectly made for blending in within coral reefs and seaweed in the surf; and the Nautilisland - massive creatures that floating through the seas, slowly accumulating corals, flora, and fauna as they become literal living islands!

We've also got 10 new items and 4 grafts to give your players as they explore the tropics. Check out items like the Ring Revolver - a three-shot firearm concealed into a ring; the Leiomano weapon, with its serrated edges of obsidian and shark teeth; the Spyglass Eye graft - made for any pirate worth half his weight in gold; and the Magic Conch - the perfectly-absurd talking conch shell!
And gain access to our newest game mechanic, Sigils - allowing you to bring more variety and options to your table for your players. Sigils are a magical combination of runes emblazoned onto the surface of a weapon or piece of armor, wand, staff, potion, wondrous item or another magical or common item, bestowing a permanent magical effect onto that item. You'll get our latest 7 sigils to allow your players to augment their items with new powers and features.

We've got our latest 6 magic spells - become adapted to the ocean with Grow Gills; conjure a spectral ship with Summon Ghost Ship; and our latest epic spell (spells exceedingly greater than 9th level) - sink ships to the depths of the sea with Capsize!

We also have you covered with new player options! Check out our latest player race, the Lidae - the manta ray humanoids who are native to the seas of the Scattered Isles.
You'll also get our latest bard subclass - the College of the Siren! Some bards embrace the song of the sea, gaining abilities meant to lure others toward this source of beauty and power, or plunge their enemies to the depths. Such bards enter the College of Sirens, an elusive and mysterious conclave composed of bards that have learned the secret songs of the deep.
You'll also find 5 new feats and 3 new deficiencies to help flesh out your player characters

And lastly, we've got 5 new battle maps ready for the included encounters (or just as easily used as standalone maps). Maps like - a jungle copse with a parrotbear nest; a rock outcropping covered in a coral-cursed reef; and a Reef Dragon's underwater nest!

Comment below what you're most looking forward to using at your table, and be sure to join the Critical Crafting discord channel to stay in the loop with our growing community and to help us brainstorm new content! The folks of the Hivemind stepped up big time to our call for ideas, and the #Hivemind channel was absolutely flooded with ideas for spells, items, and monsters! (We even just pitched July's upcoming Barbarian: Path of the Oni subclass to them, and their feedback helped shape the subclass AND even directly effected the artwork itself!) If this sounds as cool to you as it is to us, be sure to join in the fun and help contribute to future releases!
Every month we are continually taken aback with the love and support from every one of you, as this community grows bigger and better. THANK YOU for being part of this with us! July's "Legends of the Yokai" is already quickly coming together, so stay tuned for behind-the-scenes looks at artwork as we go!
