WIP - Parrotbear

We're getting the final touches on next month's tropical-themed "The Scattered Isles" and wanted to share another (and my personal favorite) piece from the release! Check out the Parrotbear for this week's WIPWednesday
Unlike their owlbear cousins, parrotbears are exceedingly docile creatures, living off of diets of nuts and berries, as well as occasionally rooting for insects. The parrotbear’s beak is specially adapted to cracking open nuts and crushing the pits of various fruits. When threatened, a parrotbear usually puts on a dazzling display to distract its foe before retreating, if this fails in this display, it attempts to keep its distance, screeching at the assailant and clambering up into nearby trees to avoid them. If these methods fail the gentle giant finally attacks, crushing skulls and flaying flesh with its mighty beak.
If approached with offerings of fruit, nuts, insects, or honey, parrotbears will often become friendly towards the creature bringing them such gifts. Otherwise, the creatures are usually inquisitive, but shy.
With abilities like Dazzling Display (using its colorful wings to distract its opponents) and Screech (to deafen them), this one is sure to be a fun creature to throw at your parties!
