Thoughts on v.1.4.0 - Feedback
Added 2025-08-05 17:53:37 +0000 UTCHello, everyone!
I hope you've all had a chance to dive into the latest update for My Fluffy Neighbor! There was a ton of new content packed in there, and hopefully most of you have had time to explore it all by now :)
As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the update. How did you find it? What were your favorite moments or additions? And of course, what areas do you think could use improvement going forward? I made a conscious shift back toward giving players more agency through the bulletin board system, which I feel provides a nice in-game justification for tackling events in whatever order you prefer.
I'm also curious to hear your thoughts on the Tavern minigame – it took quite a bit of time to code and design, so I want to know if it was worth it. I know it's fairly simple, but I'm hoping it added some fun variety to the experience. Let me know if you'd like to see more simple minigames in future updates.

Hi, thanks for the feedback :) Currently, I plan on making the main romantic and usual relationship stuff just between Lily and MC (after all, the game is named after Lily and she is the main love interest). This means although there may be side quests and scenes with other characters, it won't get deep enough into the fully romantic and 'dating' level. Hope that makes sense :) (and of course, it might change in the future)

2025-08-06 23:09:57 +0000 UTCThis was my first playthrough and I can say it's a lovely game. For the final part of this update: It was nice to see Lily not contradicting herself by stopping the MC from seeing other people as she said herself at the beginning that, as a community, every anthro is different and they coexist knowing that ( for example Hazel and the bunnies are extremely open when it comes to relationships ). Also nice to see that this was solved early to avoid the usual (and annoying ) trope of piling up lies that cause major drama when they eventually find out. On this topic. As I understood we'll be able, in the future, to roam the village and progress the stories of the other anthros ( and probaly not anthros like Bree ) that we encountered so far ( I think this will happen as they say " feel free to pass other times" ), could this lead to multiple romances? For example: We help Roxy in her dream to become a new fashion brand and, after being presented with multiple choices, she ends up dropping the bratty act and opens up, showing genuine interest. Will this be an auto-dead-end with us rejecting her for Lily or this could open up with Lily accepting her love for the MC with the condition that she'll be the main wife? This can help the game being replayable as you'll be able to explore various routes ( focus only on Lily, the adventure couple with Amber etc..) If we'll be able to have other romances with the other heroines I have only one advice: Please don't go for the "gonna catch them all" route. I think, as Lily is the main one and she shouldn't be overshadowed, that the best scenario is Lily + 1 ( or Lily +2 at max ). This way you can increase the replayability of the game without going over the top. P.S.: If this question will end up revealing major spoilers for the game feel free to just drop a hit or not answer, I'm mostly happy to have found this game and I'm curious to see how it can evolve.
