This week's WIP highlights one of the Blank's most frightening creations - the Blank Mageslayer. Check out some of its lore below, and let us know what you think!
Blank mage slayers are individuals that have been “reeducated” by the antimagic Order of the Blank. These humanoids are pumped full of mind-altering chemicals, along with an infusion of arcanhile, often causing them to become nearly mindless killing machines in service to the Blank.
Blank mage slayers have their physicality altered in the extreme, mechanical devices grafted into their flesh and brains, bones replaced with metal, organs enhanced, and minds flooded with chemicals. Most mage slayers lose all memories of their lives before the procedure that made them a mage slayer, their memories instead replaced with false memories of the horrors of magic. Many mage slayers are imprinted with memories of families or lives they never had that were completely destroyed by a mage or mages targeted by the Order of the Blank, ensuring their loyalty and use as relentless killers.
