Werewhales usually despise sailors and especially hate whalers, going out of their way to hunt down and slay those that prey on the creatures of the sea. Some believe the vicious nature of these creatures is owed to the horrid whaling practices that have taken so many of the massive creatures from the sea. Because of their vicious nature and tendency to kill sailors most captains have a standing bounty for werewhale teeth, trading gold pieces for proof of their demise and the protection of the waters they sail
