I'm super happy to present another episode of Heart of Stone which has been the toughest to bring to life. I had to rewrite it around 6 times and partially or entirely redraw the pages twice. I think the most challenging aspect has been making characters say all I had in mind without diluting the pace too much - I'm happy with the 6 pages I settled with!

...and super excited to draw more! We're getting to the point I've been wanting to illustrate for MONTHS and I can't wait to draw more!! In order to make sure the ending of this part does work with the following episode, I ended up drafting it as well so it shouldn't be long before I draw it! I just want to draw a nsfw comic first, then I'll likely come back to my precioussss 💜

As I mentioned before, I had to redraw some of the pages, I thought it was fun to share a couple of the previous versions that I saved:

EX PAGE 2, Neuvillette and Zhongli talking while walking away from the scene of the accident, except Zhongli is rambling about his Good Old Times. I liked Zhongli reminiscing the past but I felt like Zhongli would question Neuvillette's choice of leaving soon to better understand the current society instead of simply obeying and moving on with a random convo.

EX PAGE 3, Neuvillette walking back to the scene of the accident, but he's a bit too bossy and Zhongli being sarcastic about it didn't match the vibe I wanted for this episode.

A big thank you to Kee for beta-reading this episode and patiently explaining me the meaning of some words so I could understand how to improve 🙏💜💜
