Trigger warning.. To those who don’t know. SHINee was the first group to achieve what’s called a rookie grand slam which is winning best new artist/ rookie of the year at all 5 major Korea/ Asia music awards shows. Though they didn’t always have it easy. In 2017 just a few months before their 10th anniversary one of the members Jonghyun sadly killed himself. As sad as that is they just celebrated their 16th anniversary as a group.
