I don't even know where to begin to say how excited for having finally drawn a sequel to the comic I love the most, I'll just scream AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
Now an attempt to phrase it: I let some of my deepest emotions flow into HoS Ep. 1, and I LOVED the result but it also left me overwhelmed - I rarely experience such level of connection with a work of mine. For the longest time I felt like I couldn't replicate that feeling, consequently believing that any sequel would've been underwhelming in comparison... I had sketched Ep. 2 back in November because I wanted it to happen, but I still didn't feel confident enough.
Now it may be silly, but the reason why I wanted to get back on it these days is... The Brush. Yes, the new brush I discovered that kind of gave me superpowers (I talked about it here) and I couldn't believe it, but continuing the story DID give me the same joy and emotions I felt when creating Ep. 1!! I've been so excited!
During these days, my brain has been storming with ideas and possible evolutions of the plot... it's currently chaotic and I'll need time to put order. I know that for me to enjoy creating HoS, it has to come natural, so I won't force a deadline on new episodes.
Thank you especially to those who waited damn long for this sequel to happen, thank you for the enthusiasm around it, thank you simply for your support!! I hope you'll enjoy! π§‘π
