Added 2017-11-04 22:56:43 +0000 UTCHey folks, Gats here. Very surprised (but also pretty happy) that there are folks still subscribed to this patreon, so I figured I'd take the time to let you all know what's up with the big change.
Today marks the beginning of a new project me and several other fine dudes have been putting together for a short while now. We're calling it MONOLIGHTER, a cyberpunk adult adventure game centered around stealth and sidescrolling action (a stealthscroller, even). It focuses around a photographer called the Lensman, who runs a cybernetics-focused porn magazine and makes his living taking all sorts of photos (with consent, of course).
To you old patrons, I've changed up the reward tiers in favor of this new project, and as a result I don't want you all getting caught up in something you're not interested in paying for. With this post, I'm officially launching it 'early', before first builds are posted, just so you guys have a window to opt out, change your levels, or even just sit tight with the knowledge that I'm cranking out the ol' patreon again.

As for time frame, it's as you say. We're all working pro-bono at the moment, so the more donations are given, the more time we can focus on MONOLIGHTER instead of going down other routes to earn money.

2017-11-09 05:42:17 +0000 UTCThanks for the donation! A kickstarter would be cool, but I don't think we're at a stage complete enough yet to consider something that large. Donating once, no matter what, gets you the rewards for that tier for the month. So if you donate $50 or $100, once the month rolls over and the payment is processed, you'll be able to submit a character to be made that month. The $50 character submission involves an NPC much like the ones in the demo, with their own lines, place in the world and (if desired) CG to go along with it. The $100 enemy is an NPC capable of moving around and utilizing a moveset chosen by you (like shooting, seduction, etc) to antagonize the player. They come with their own set of interactions (some animated if need be) and again, a CG if so desired. It's a much more in-depth version of the $50 tier.

Do we still get a submission for a character ? Are you considering Kickstarter at any point ? Also, what's the difference between the $50 donation vs the $100 donation ? Character submission versus enemy, obstacle, or foe ? Could you describe that a bit more in depth ? For instance does it mean I'd be able to pitch some kind of puzzle the player must navigate ?
2017-11-09 00:13:58 +0000 UTCWhile I did consider moving to a new page, there's a lot of set up beforehand involved, and since I had no plans on restarting my old patreon in its original state, I figured I might as well rework this one. Plus, all the old posts are still archived, in case people want to check it out. As for the second question, we definitely have a lot of things to show off, including an early build of the game. We'll be throwing everything onto the patreon very very soon.
