This could be to keep you company, turn you on, relax you, or honestly just to put on in the background as you go about your day.
Whatever you use this conversation for I hope it's enjoyable and insightful. In the future some of my quickies will be more "dirty" but I felt like easing in with an authentic conversation.

Don't mind me as I go through the backlog of audios as a new subscriber. π Apologies in advance for the essay. πββοΈ This makes me feel so seen! As a first gen graduate, my parents always pushed me to do well in school, which led me to taking up several leadership roles, participating in a number of extracurriculars throughout my school years (including undergrad), etc etc. I'm super thankful for how my parents raised me because I love the kind of person I have become and the kind of person that I continue to grow into, but it's definitely made it more difficult to find a partner that meets my standard. Specifically, someone who holds a lot of masculine energy (masculine qualities as defined historically - leadership, strength, control, independence, etc.). I've been told in the past that some men have been intimidated by me which is why they didn't pursue me. Why, because I know my self-worth and what I want and don't want in my life (probably also because I'm a progressive woman living in the Bible Belt, but I digress...)? It's disheartening to hear stuff like that. I am sooo exhausted of being the one who has to make decisions all the time - with my family, friends, at work, etc. On top of that, always having been in a helping profession - I love my job and I wouldn't change it for the world, but damn a girl has had decision fatigue and I need someone to take care of ME for once! π The dream. P.S. I love the idea of "quickies!" It's nice to listen to audios like this getting ready in the morning or at night, or driving in the car π And these topics are interesting!!
