Essentially,I lost my job because of the rules at an agency I worked at, disallowing people to remain employed when this far into their migration process. So because of that I was put into a rather uncomfortable situation,where my primary (and only) source of income would be from commissions.Which is why I had to put the comic on an indefinite hiatus. Q: but hammer,don't you receive enough funding via patreon to continue working? A: short answer,no. Now because comic pages take a significantly longer amount of time to do and the payout isn't sufficient enough to warrant that amount of time. (Of that juicy hundred you're seeing me make here,2 of which are commissions paid for by clients.) So call it 30 bucks a month for that much work...you can see why I had to pass up right? Q: when will the comic resume? A: maybe late December or early January. Because my current pc decided to kick the bucket on me (Ain't I lucky) I cannot continue at the moment. However I believe that I have saved enough to purchase a decent replacement,but I probably won't be receiving this replacement before Xmas. Tl;Dr -I am on a forced hiatus, without any real means of income. I'm not really begging for anything here,just explaining myself. I just want to say thank you for those who continue to support me despite the content drought. If things get bad I could collect for commissions in advance for this month,but we'll see how it goes.
