Video game called Phenomenal World will release in 2027

Description:
A videogame called Phenomenal World. The game is intended to be sold as software purchasable online via game distribution sites and services such as Steam. A physical cartridge or disc distribution of the game software is also being considered for sale at physical and online stores (Amazon, Best Buy, etc.). The game is written in GameMaker language using the GameMaker Studio 2 game development software. The game is a 2.5D perspective RPG with 2D sprite graphics being rendered in a depth-sorted manner and features z-axis platforming. The game also features turn-based combat where a series of characters belonging to the player fight a group of enemy characters in a tactical and combative nature, where each character has a turn to execute an action such as attacking, using an item, using a spell, etc. Most moves that a combatant can execute in battle has an Action Command minigame to increase the power of that move when performed correctly. The game has many associated graphics, audio, and text which convey fantastical characters relevant to the game's story and mechanics such as anthropomorphic animals, robots, and monsters based on horror films and books. The game's story follows a main character (whose default name is Sage) as a destined figure favored by the Eyes Who Watch (deities of the fictional game world) to bring order back to the fictional lands of Architectonic ( the Animal Kingdom, the city of Void Main, and the town simply called Ghost Town). Sage is helped by mentor characters throughout his journey who are analogues for famous philosophers (Mr. Rateez: Socrates, Fade O: Plato, etc.) They seek to stop the main villain, Rand, a philosophically cynical character who has various forms (Jackal, Sarcophagus, Mummy). Rand also has the favor of the Eyes Who Watch but uses his divine abilities to sow chaos in an effort to entertain the Eyes Who Watch and theoretically be granted even more power. The game is intended for ages 10+.
