Male, 8 - 10 years old, he is Naiya's sassy, spunky, ball of energy, curious, always upbeat and quick witted kid brother who's hoping to have the chance to "dig for treasure." As an adrenaline seeker, he is thrilled to be part of the exploration team as the young people set off to find Sol Dorado. He is dubbed "caddie" by Dora who explains to him that he is now officiously a "very important helper." And, indeed, he proves he's up to the task...LEAD

6 - 8 years old, Dora is seen in a flashback as a young Latina girl, she is full of curiosity, bright and imaginative, also kind, with a restless spirit and a love of the jungle. Enchanted by the stories told to her by her grandfather, from whom she also learns the importance of teamwork, Dora decides that someday she will be a real explorer and find the elusive Sol Dorado. With her trusty map (as yet uncharted) and her new friend, Boots, a monkey, Dora is already dreaming of her future daring crusades and wild adventures. SPEAKS BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH..SUPPORTING

6 - 8 years old, Diego is seen in a flashback to when he was a young Latino boy, he is Dora's cousin, also her bestie and fellow explorer, equally enchanted by the mysteries of the jungle.
