I'M HAPPY AS HELL BECAUSE I MADE MY FIRST RECOLOR!!!!! 😁

For this to be my very first, I am quite proud of myself. With that being said though, I am going to use this as another skill to test out with you guys!

BLACK LIVES MATTER (BLM) FLAG

As my first recolor, I decided to make a BLM Flag that you can hang on wall within the game. BASE GAME COMPATIBLE. Working on this project, I got a little emotional. I can't upload the video I made while making it here but I will say, by the end of writing my description, I was in full blown tears.

I figured BLM is self explanatory for anyone who chooses to support the movement and educate themselves on it. So to me, what could I possibly choose to write as a description? Due to this, I wanted to take this opportunity to #SAYTHEIRNAMES because although we all like to escape reality within our sim game, we have to remember our fight for justice. Within the description, you will see all of the names & stories I have learned about.

As the media surrounding goes from being spread across the news to being whispered about in the streets, this is still something we fight everyday for. Equality. Not to make our people better than the next but to get the respect and RIGHTS that all human beings deserve. After taking the time to look further into the lives lost due to racism or police brutality, my heart shattered fully and completely. Seeing the never-ending list of names ranging from as young as 5 to as old as 90 years old... I couldn't believe my eyes. Names I had never even heard of because their story NEVER made it to the news or social media. This is NOT okay. Their stories deserve to be heard too. The saddest part is, I can only imagine how many more names and stories, we are not aware of.

I truly don't mean to stray away from my normal content but I want to use my platform to also help spread awareness to this movement. I want to be the change I want to see in the world.
