Can play the role of Filipino Female, 60s, Jo's mother, impossible to please, Lorna is a five foot one-inch force of nature, with short hair and glasses. Scowling with displeasure because Jo has let his marriage dissolve into divorce, and that "goddess" Cheryl is no longer her daughter-in-law, Lorna is determined to set the world right again. She moves into Jo's home, throws out his foosball table, fills the house with her beloved rattan furniture, and sets out to reunite Jo and Cheryl (who are both perfectly happy being divorced)...SERIES REGULAR

Can play the role of Filipino American Male, 15 years old, the son of Jo and Cheryl, Miles lives with his father, and is comfortable with the idea of his parents' divorce -- in fact, he appears to be the most well-adjusted member of the entire family. Miles has very little interest in traditional Filipino culture; his dad raised him on hip-hop, and he prefers orange chicken to any Filipino dish. His grandmother Lorna plans to become a strong Filipino presence in his too-Americanized life...SERIES REGULAR
