Male, white, 30s, he is boyishly handsome with a disarming smile and cocky confidence. He has a disheleved appearance, like a man who's been traveling for several days. James is a hardened criminal who rides with three other outlaws who recently broke out of a jail in Santa Fe. The leader of the gang, he is charismatic and cruel. He likes to make people squirm. When James was a young boy, he witnessed his father being brutally killed by gunslinger Colton Briggs - and he never forgot it. He wants revenge...LEAD 

[ BROOKE BRIGGS ]
Female, white, 12 years old, with her hair tied back tightly in a braid, she looks like a typical school girl. However, there is something off about her. When she speaks, she is always calm, and strangely detached. Tough as nails, Brooke is Colton and Ruth's daughter - and she's just like her father. She's never cried, and feels very little empathy for those around her. Male, 50s, Jarret is a U.S. Marshal. He is a seasoned, professional lawman who's seen it all. He knows Colton Briggs from way back, and when their paths cross after many years, he is genuinely surprised and pleased to see that Colton is leading a stable life, and has become a respectable family man. He also suspects that Colton is still a very dangerous man. Jarrett sets out to hunt down the men responsible for the death of Colton's wife...LEAD     OPEN ETHNICITY

Female, 40s, a strong, caring woman with a warm, supportive manner. The wife of Colton Briggs and the mother of their twelve year old daughter, she has been a great, stabilizing force in Colton's life. She is the only person he has ever loved.
