Wishes that his Dad would spend more time with him but he's too afraid to ask. He’ll need to learn that the only thing holding him back from being heroic is himself. (LEAD)

12-16 years old, any ethnicity Tough exterior that masks her vulnerability, Maya is a military brat who never stays in one place long enough to be comfortable with herself. In search of a group of friends that can be her home base, she uses her prickliness as a protective coat to prevent getting hurt when she has to move away for her Mom's job. Always armed with tissues and Flonase, Berger's like the child version of John Candy in Planes, Trains and Automobiles - good hearted but endlessly annoying to all those around him. He and Charlie have been kindred spirits and best friends since they were little. (LEAD)
